"What an interesting specimen, Chairman Moore."
"Yes, when's your man supposed to be coming in?"
"Soon."
Karl and Chairman Moore stood side-by-side in her lab, the animalloid watching his human ally examine a blueish substance in a vaccine vial, it's syringe laying in a sterile bag not too far away. The blueish substance, which was Zircon in colour, sloshed around as Chairman Moore rotated the vial, it giving a soft glowing hue in her fingertips - covered by her "paws".
Reverbiation in Karl's chest caught Ms. Moore's attention, the Reptilian chuckling a soft chuckle at her, causing the human to turn inquisitively.
"I'm shocked that, given all of the other failed attempts at this serum, Schröder is willing to still let you harvest off of that body. It's in his collection, for fuck's sake! He's very protective of those bodies."
"Well," she started, "assuming that this batch exists in the first place, nor is it immediately destabilising, is a wonder in itself."
Ms. Moore then gestured with her shoulder, the small pile of Zircon Blue crystals, yet to be crushed into a powder, shimmering in a glass chamber on her desk.
"If this batch works as I'm hypothesising, I won't have any more need for harvest, and Schröder gets to keep his prized possession. Win-win."
Karl nodded, his hands folded neatly behind his back.
As the two watched the substance, the door to the lab creaked open, revealing Arthit as he stepped inside. His voice beckoned, catching the attention of Karl - his superior.
"You asked for me, sir?"
Karl smirked, nodding in agreement. Unfolding his paws, he cleared his throat and gestured to the chair situated in Chairman Moore's office.
"Yes. Please, Arthit, take a seat for me, will you?"
The Gorilla obliged, walking confidently over to the chair. As he sat down, he eyed the blue substance the Science Head held in her padded paws. Furrowing his brow, he looked to Karl inquisitively; as if asking about the substance.
Karl chuckled, asking the boy if he ever wanted to know what it was like to be omnipotent. Hesitantly, Arthit shrugged, stating that such a thing was impossible. The response from the Gorilla made Ms. Moore sneer, placing the vial onto her table and walking over to the Gorilla in her testing chair. As she glided her fingers over a button on the side of the chair, she told the Gorilla that what was to happen was merely a safety feature, in the event something went wrong; pressing the button.
Arthit winced, feeling a needle pierce his lower arm. With the injector inside her host, Chairman Moore tied Arthit to the chair with leather restraints, two on his wrists, two on his ankles, and one around his chest.
"Is all of this necessary?" The Gorilla asked, watching as Karl stepped back and as Ms. Moore walked to her table.
"Just merely safety precautions," The masked woman stated, pulling out a needled syringe, "If anything goes wrong, we can't have you running around the complex here. We aren't sure what you would do."
Karl's eyes followed Chairman Moore as she pushed the syringe into the vial of coagulating bluish substance, drawing the plunger back and pulling the thick, blood-like substance into the barrel. With the experimentation inside, Moore walked over to the fastened Gorilla, wiping the end of the syringe with a sterile wet wipe left on her desk.
"Which arm do you prefer?" She asked, eyeing both of the Gorilla's plump, brutish upper arms.
"Right." Arthit replied, watching as Chairman Moore inched closer, placing a rotten paw on his biceps. She moved the hairs along his arm with her thumb, her eyes focused on the juicy muscles in front of her as his dark gray skin flashed underneath the fur. Finding a favourable spot, she pushed the hairs back and positioned the needle; taking a deep breath before pushing it into his skin.
