Another chaoter! Sorry I didn't update yesterday, But here's a new chapter.

Thomas and Teresa just talk till Minho came in and told them to set up more tents.

As Thomas was collecting some logs, Brenda came up behind him and stood there. He looked up and saw madness and a hint of sadness in her eyes.

"What's up?" Thomas asks. Also he wanted to know what she had that look on her face.

" What's up? That's all you can ask?" Don't play with me Thomas you know what you did."

" Whoa, whoa, I don't even know what you're talking about. What happened?" Thomas asks.

" What's wrong is you and Teresa, so she saves your life back in the headquarters, big deal, but it wasn't smart when a boulder falls on her leg and you think it is safe to save her. You could've died. Then you don't even talk to me and go and comfort her. Like there are other people in this camp too!" Brenda yells then stomps off.

Thomas is so confused, he thought it was the right thing to do. Then he realizes that he kissed Brenda once and told her that she wasn't Teresa. Thomas guessed she must've taken the kiss more then it was. He watches as Brenda walks off then is alarmed when she stops in front of Teresa and slaps her across the face. Knowing Teresa he knows this isn't going to end well.

Just like he thought Teresa walks up to Brenda and full on punches her in the face and jaw, the she walks back to setting up her tent. Thomas see Brenda stand up and is taking her stance to kick Teresa in her broken leg. Thomas runs toward the scene before anything can happen and yells,

" Stop! Before any of us gets hurt just stop."

Once he sees the girls calm down he speaks again,

" Brenda that was very unnecessary. And you, Teresa two punches really? Pull yourselves together and work on getting up tents and structures, but stay on complete opposite sides. You hear me?"

Both of the girls answer yes and the Brenda walks off cursing as she does. Teresa has a red mark on her face and Thomas couldn't tell if she's dissatisfied or disappointed. But he leaves her be and goes back to his tent. A few hours later Frypan cooked his famous beef stew, and while everyone ate, Thomas went to sit in his tent and read the note that Newt wrote.

He was still hurting on what he did to his friend he knew he could never tell Minho and no one else could know about it. The grief from everything they just went through came crashing down on him, Chuck's death, losing Winston, the Flare, the Cranks, Teresa when she got taken, the sun beating down on all of them, Minho when he got struck by lightning, everything was too much. He would've burned the note but it was the last thing of Newt he had so he read it.

" Dear Thomas, this is the first letter I can remember writing. Obviously I don't know if I wrote any before the maze but even if it's not my first it's likely to be my last. I want you to know that I'm not scared, well not of dying anyway, it's more forgetting, it's losing myself to this virus that's what scares me. So every night I've been saying their names out loud, Alby, Winston, Chuck and I just repeat them over and over like a prayer, and it all comes flooding back. Just the little things like how the sun used to hit the Glade at that perfect moment right before it slipped beneath the walls. And I remember the taste of Frypan's stew, I never thought I'd miss that stuff so much, and I remember you the first time you came up into the box, just a scared little greenie who couldn't even remember his own name, and from that moment that you ran into the maze I knew I would follow you anywhere, and I have. We all have. If I could do it all over again I would, and I wouldn't change a thing. And my hope for you is that when you're looking back years from now you'll be able to say the same. Futures in your hands now Tommy, and I know you'll find a way to do what's right, you've always have, take care of everyone for me and take care of yourself, you deserve to be happy. Thank you for being my friend. Goodbye mate, Newt."

Thomas is sobbing. The pain of missing Newt is too much to bear, so he just lies down and falls asleep holding the note in his hand.

Okay everyone I think that a new chapter or chapters will be coming to you shortly so just sit back and wait probably like 5 minutes.
