Hey guys! I'm back! So today I was shopping at Macy's and the song "I'm like a bird" came on and it reminded me of Dylan O'Brien in the video above at the first clip also the video before this comment, Oh, also I added a part at the end of chapter 1, I just realized that I made the story sound like it was all in one day. So here's a new chapter.
Thomas wakes up and sees Teresa drawing a figure 8 on his arm, still lying on his chest.
" What time is it?" He asks.
" Well, I'm guessing almost sunset. We probably fell asleep at 3 and slept about 2 hours." Teresa responds.
Thomas rearranges himself trying not to move Teresa but she does and sits up. Thomas grabs her arm and says,
" Lay back down, you need to rest."
" Doesn't really matter because the nightmares will just haunt me," Teresa answers.
" Well how about we just talk or lay here in silence," Thomas suggests.
" Okay," Teresa says.
But she lays beside him instead of on his chest. Thomas can tell that something's off but he knows there's a lot to process right now. After a few minutes of silence, his curiosity finally wins over. so he asks her,
" What are you thinking of."
" I'm just trying to figure out what was the point of everything WICKED did to us. I mean all the trials were basically for nothing if they set up a safe place for us anyway. Unless this is another trial." Teresa explains.
Thomas didn't want to think about how this could be another WICKED trial with variables. He just wanted a simple life before the sun flares, before the cranks, before WICKED, he wanted that life so bad.
Okay so the next chapter will have some Brenda jealousy and I think maybe Thursday I might post it, idk so don't give your hopes up. Hope you guys liked the chapter! Also, Dylan O'Brien is like so hot!!!
