Another chapter! As always hope y'all enjoy!

Thomas turns toward the scream and it was coming from the med-jack hut. The first thing he thought of was Teresa and if she was okay. Thomas doesn't waste another second and starts running toward the hut. Running why always running?

When he got to the hut the scene he saw was horrifying. A crank way beyond the Gone was harassing Teresa, Trina was on the floor blood running down her face, but she was still breathing so that was a good sign. He turns toward the crank and Teresa and jumps into action, he pushes the crank off of Teresa and stops beating the crap out of him. The crank tries to fight back but Thomas is too strong for him. Thomas can't believe what he is doing but he stands up grabs a glass and stabs the crank's heart.

Thomas is stunned for a second about what he just did but, remembers Teresa and Trina. He sees that Teresa has sat down on the bed with her head in her hands. He looks around for Trina but can't find her. Then Minho pops in saying,

" Well while you were beating the crap out of that dude we took Trina out to clean her up."

Minho leaves without waiting for a response and Thomas moves to sit by Teresa. He can tell that she is crying and sees her hyperventilating.

" Breathe, steady, slow, deep breaths," Thomas says.

" I'm trying, but with all the shock and stress, I...can't...do...it," Teresa says shakily.

She starts to cry harder so Thomas takes her into his arms and puts her head on his shoulder so she's crying into it.

" I'm right here and I'm not leaving. Okay I know it's been really hard for you, for all of us. But the important thing is that we have each other." Thomas says.

" It's not just WICKED and the trials and variables, it's how after I was forced to betray you, you didn't forgive me. They gave me my memories back Tom, I remember us and I remember that no matter what you would always forgive me."

She takes a breath to steady herself then continues,

" I'm not trying to force you to forgive me it's just that after they took you into the room and I didn't see you for three weeks and still after that when we escaped into different groups. Don't you see that I haven't had a full-on conversation with you since the maze." Teresa ends.

" I know and I hope to change that, so we'll start over, but I think that we both need some sleep. We at least owe that to ourselves. Sound good?" Thomas says.

" Okay." She says.

He leads her to a tent that the community has managed to set up. He lays down and motions for her to join him. She does and lays down next to him. Teresa puts her head on his chest and falls asleep. Thomas gets comfortable and then does the same.
