Runaway Dad~ Mike Fuentes and Tony Perry Fanfiction

Chap. Eight

Tony's POV

She's so beautiful. I never thought I could love another girl after Kim. She broke my heart and didn't even care, I never thought it would be possible for me to feel this way. With Kim it was just for fun, with Ronnie I want something more, something that's real. With Ronnie I want that family environment. I want it to last, I just have to prove to her that I mean it. I want her to trust me. Especially after that kiss. I smile remembering how her smooth skin felt against my lips. She truly is amazing.

I walk out to the back, hoping that she would follow. I head to the deck and laugh seeing all the guys drenched from head to toe. Looks like Zeke got them back. I feel a small hand enter mine and look over to see Ronnie looking at the guys. She's so beautiful, but I can tell she's damaged. Something has happened to her in the past to make her so reserved. "You okay?" I ask, stroking her hand with my thumb.

She bites her lip nervously before turning to me, "I'm perfectly okay." She smiles at me and I pull her close to my side. I look over to Vic and see him smile in surprise. I shrug and look down at the gorgeous girl in my arms.

"Just remember, no matter what, I'm always here for you, little Smurf." I whisper in her ear. A small smile forms on her lips and I grin.

"Same for you Tone." She says, only making my grin grow. "I think living her will actually be really nice."

"You're thinking of moving here?" Suddenly I get butterflies in my stomach, anticipation of the more days to come with her fills my senses.

"Yeah, me and my mother think it'll be for the best, you know? Then there's Zeke to think about, it's a better school district, but then again I have to think about his Dad. It's just a hard decision to make. I know my mom wants me to live here so I can reconnect with Mike and my family. She tries to hide it but I know that my Mom misses him, they were in love for more than half their life." She says, I look over and see Mike and Bianca talking and laughing. It's not hard to see how in love they are, I've never met Bianca and I know that. She's an amazing person, I don't know how Mike got so bad when he had Ronnie and Bi there with him.

"Well I can tell you that I know your family misses you," as soon as I say it I regret it. Her face instantly drops into a frown. I continue, knowing that she wants my honest opinion. "I also know that I would miss you. Most importantly though, take it from me, don't live life hating your father. One day he's not going to be there and then you'll regret it." When I finish I pull her small, frail, soft body into my larger and bulkier one. I sigh and instantly feel content holding her in my arms.

"Thank you Tony, I needed that." She tightens her arms around me, right before she let's go to walk over to her parents. I smile seeing her embrace Mike, she's needs this. It's what's best for her. Okay, yes, maybe it works for me because now she will be more willing to come out here. I just hope she feels the same way.

"So Tone, you and my niece, huh?" Vic says, coming up behind me and clasping me on the back.

"Look man, I don't care if you don't like it. I know I'm new to the band but-" I don't even get to finish before he starts laughing at me.

"I didn't come over here to tell you to stay away from her, I came over here to tell you to not be stupid and let her go like Mike did to Bi. I see the way you two have been looking at each other, it's the same way Mike did the first time I introduced him and her. Look I know Mike may not be cool with it at first, but just remember I'm rooting in your corner. " He says and smiles at me. Vic and I haven't really been close, but I know that he'll at least have my back now.

"Thanks Vic." He walks away to get Zeke and play with him. I laugh when Zeke throws a water balloon at Vic, then he starts chasing him. I can't help but chuckle.

Suddenly I'm pelted with something wet, I stare at my attacker in shock. I look ahead and see my little Smurf grinning and giggling. I smirk at her and run towards her. Just as I'm about to reach her, another balloon is thrown at my chest. She dashes away and the chase is on.

After four hours of chasing Ronnie, I finally give up, or so she thinks. I shout out that I surrender and I instantly see a small body come over of the tree house. Yes, I literally chased her up a tree. She hops down and walks over to me, grinning triumphantly. She's too cute for her own good. I laugh when a smile breaks out on her face when she get's close to me.

I instantly wrap my arms around her. She sigh and cuddles into my chest. I smile and already feel bad for what I'm about to do. I quickly bring my arms up and smash a water balloon on her back. I laugh as she gasps in shock and tries to glare at me.

"You tricked me." She says, sticking her tongue out at me and attempting to walk out of my arms. My grip tightens on the tiny waist in my hands and I pull her tighter against me.

"Come on Smurf, you know you're not mad." She turns around to face me and surprises me, she wraps her small arms around me, then does something unexpected. She kisses me.
