Ronnie's POV

I don't think I've ever been as nervous as I am now. Knocking on Tony's door after all this time is nerve racking. My heart is beating out of my chest, huh that would make an interesting rhythm. I hear the barking of his two little dogs as I wipe the sweat of of my palms. I hear the click of the door and I hold my breath.

He looks even more handsome then I remember. I don't know how I could leave like I did. He gasps in surprise. Without even thinking I rush into his arms. Letting his warmth soothe me. "Ronnie, I can't believe you're here!"

"I'm so sorry," I say through the tears. "I never wanted to hurt you, I was just so scared something would happen to Zeke."

"Ron I'm not mad at all! I understand why you were scared, anyone would be. I promise nothing will happen to Zeke. I'll keep you both safe no matter what. Me, your parents, your Uncle Vic, even Jaime will keep you two safe." He says squeezing me tighter.

"Wanna go to a movie and forget about all this?" I ask with a smile. I look up to his face and the most beautiful smile spreads across his face.

"Of course!" He smiles and grabs my hand, we walk out to his car and opens the door. Maybe today won't be so bad.

It was finally sunset and the day was amazing. We went to see the new Beauty and the Beast and it truly made me cry. Especially when the Belle finally realized she loved the beast. He took me to the beach for dinner and it was beautiful. As we sit here under the stars I can't help but feel at peace for the first time in days. I close my eyes as I lean against his chest and sigh in content.

"Ronnie?"

"Yeah Tony?" I say still in peace.

"Can I ask you a question?" He says seriously. I gulp my heart racing.

"Sure," I say nervously.

"What made you decide to have Zeke? I mean you were only thirteen, weren't you scared?" He asks. I sit up and look at the water.

"I don't know honestly. I guess the fact that at the end of the day I knew it wasn't Zeke's fault who his father was. He was mine. My baby. Not his." I said, I grab onto the necklace my mom got me that says Zeke.

"You're such an amazing person Ron," Tony says as he kisses my forehead. When the sun finally sets we start back home. Tony doesn't let go of my hand the entire drive home. For once since all this gang stuff went down. I feel safe. We pull up to the house and I see my parents with Zeke in the window.

"Thank you for tonight Tone, it was amazing." I said to him. He walked over and hugged me. He gave me a huge kiss and I couldn't help but giggle into it.

"Thats enough kid," I heard my dad from the porch. I laughed as Tony mumbled 'cock block' under his breath. I laughed and gave him one more hug before walking to the porch.

"Good night Tone," I yelled out. I turned for one more glance at his goofy smile.

"Good night Ronnie," he yelled back. And for one split second everything was perfect.
