Birdie and Rex took their time getting back to Saint Denise after the train robbery and Birdie and Jack seeing each other's for the first time in years it's been two days and they two haven't even made it to the city they had give made it to Rhodes after spending a day and a half at a camp in Dewberry Creek so Birdie could heal and once entering Rhodes they visited the salon before sleeping a hangover off for two days but while Jack followed them watching from a distance just waiting for a moment to approach

But that moment didn't happen

~ ☙ ✯ ❧ ~ Two Days before~ ☙ ✯ ❧ ~

"Hey Jack you okay?" A voice called to him making him turn as two of his trusted gang member approached as he stood from his position on the hill in Dewberry watching over the twos camp below him

"Kai, Ryder what brings you two out this way?" He questioned looking at the native woman and the singer of his family

"Looking for you Jack your need back at camp" Kai said

"What for?" Jack questioned back sure he's the leader but he's been known to leave for a few days on his own and the camp survives without him but not once have they sent two of the best trackers for him

"It's Keeton, he's causing quite a ruckus up at camp"Ryder answered and Jack rolled his eyes before nodding understanding and got to work tearing down his little camp the two helped before all mounted up and lead Jack to the new camp while filing him in on what Jake had done during Jacks absence

"He's been walking around high and mighty saying he took down two respected bounty hunters, and Kullen found him trying to spend all the camps money at near by saloon, Bohanan thankfully stopped him before he could spend a coin, and he's been acting real un-gentlemen like around the ladies and you know we don't stand for that Jack" Ryder explained and the lone Marston took it all in as they road the rest of the way in silence

And they neared the small camp nestled in the valley between colter and hanging dog ranch hidden in the trees and the camp was busy with Butcher cooking up some food but Jack noticed the man roughly chopping up the meat while staring dead ahead, he also saw Duke near by for once without a drink in hand but instead he was throughly cleaning his revolver, Jack observed Beau, Swayer and Jesse sitting at the table all three men wearing sour faces and seemed to be guarding a tent, then he realized two ladies where missing as Clara and Wendy marched up to the arriving men and Jack took note of Clara wearing her weapon's something she doesn't do in the comfort of camp

And they didn't even give Jack time to dismount and Kai had to take his horses reins as the two woman dragged the leader a small distance from camp

"Jack I love you but if you don't kick that man to the mud or kill him I will skin him like a unwanted pig with the dullest blade Butcher can give me and tear his disgusting privates from his body with a horse scared by a snake" Clara growled causing his eyes to widen in shock it's rare the blonde woman is more violent than Wendy and he looked to the woman waiting for her to say the same

"What Clara said" she answered simply

"What happened?" He questioned now confused to the camps change of demeanor as this wasn't what Kai and Ryder had described to him
