It took Birdie two weeks to across the wild part of New Hanover, the first week was one of the worse experiences she had gone though her baby girl has non stopped cried after the braves had left them, not used to traveling for a long amount time as the only trips she had done in the past was short wagon rides into Blackwater and back for supplies and having to stop for three days straight due to the girl watching her mother kill two men trying to take the wagon and horse she was unable to travel, to scared and terrified of running into more dangerous people

Second week became much easier the little girl looked forward to getting in the wagon in the morning and listening to Kings rhythmic steps as he clopped down the road listening to her mother sing random tunes to past time, Birdie had gotten familiar with the roads once again expecting the unexpected and a plan for every situation they could encounter

Once getting to the Wapiti reservation and after searching for a friend who she didn't find, they left the wagon knowing it would be protected as Birdie placed her work saddle on king along with a few days of supplies and a tent having plans to camp at her fathers grave a few nights

The impressive mount was happy to be free of a wagon able to stretch his legs as Birdie held the child close to her letting King thunder down the road wind blowing through the girls hair as the little one laughed loudly only urging the horse to continue making the girl happy

The girls giggle carried as they passed a stranger the horses hooves making the man stop staring in slightly shock and awe as the familiar woman passed only a dust cloud left behind. The man in his saddle immediately forgot what he was going to do as he turned his horse back the way he came

Birdie had to slow King down much to the girl's disappointment as she guided the horse to the mountain side she could draw in her sleep miles away from it she only had to guide the horse once King took it over from there knowing where he was going

The man they had passed threw himself from his horse after reaching his destination and with quick feet made his way to the new destination in mind, his leaders tent

King walked up the hill coming to a stop not far from a old marker, birdie smiled at it and the view before she dismounted from the saddle and climbed down once her boots touched the ground she reached up and took the little girl into her arms and walked towards her father's cross

The man quickly tour open the tents flap making the man inside look up from his book

"Jack if you don't go see that woman I'm gonna drag you there myself"he spoke with a smirk Jack looked up at the man who had longer hair down almost past his chin and a scruff

"What are you talkin about Kullen?"he questioned

"Birdie B. you been nothing but a miserable bastard since you last spoke of her nearly snapped Ms. Clara head off for asking about her the other day"Kullen explained

"I'm sorry for my attitude I truly am but it's to dangerous for me to go out lookin for her"Jack explained "Charles had wrote to me with the news she left his tribes camp with I have no idea where she could be he didn't mention it"

"True but she could also be near"Kullen said and Jack saw the look on his face his smirk of he's knows something you don't

"What do you know Kullen?"Jack question setting the book down
