It was at this moment that Boyfriend and Alex knew, they f***ed up.
During their fight, a teacher noticed the fighting and had come to give them detention.
It was after school hours, but as the teacher said,
Teacher: You were still on school property, so school rules still apply.
Yeah. So that kind of sucked for them.
The worst part is that their friends were dragged into the mess as well, and had also been placed in detention for encouraging the fight.
Sora: It's the first day of school and we're ALREADY in detention?! Hmph! CURSE YOU CRUEL FATE!
Levi: Sora, that's not our number one problem right now.
Sora: Okay, okay, but at least we can say that it's one of the top 5.
Senpai: Are we referencing something?
Meanwhile, at the front of the room, things weren't doing so great.
Boyfriend: I can't believe that you got us in detention!
Alex: ME?! YOU THREW A MICROPHONE AT ME!
Boyfriend: YOU WERE SUPPOSED TO CATCH IT, NOT TURN THAT INTO A FIGHT!
Alex: WHY YOU LITTLE-
Charli: ENOUGH!
Boyfriend and Alex were both stunned at the orange squirrel's words.
Charli: Let's face it. Both of you are to blame.
Pico: Yeah
Alex: But he-
Charli: Alex, you know you didn't have to accept the offer to battle. You could've declined.
Alex: I guess so...
Charli then turned to Boyfriend.
Charli: And you didn't have to challenge Alex to a battle.
Boyfriend: I guess ...
Then there was silence.
Pico: So should I break the silence, or-
Charli: Shh.
Boyfriend: I-I'm sorry. When I bumped into you in the hallway, I felt a bit intimidated by you, knowing that you're very popular and all.
Alex :I'm sorry too. I should have been nicer to you since you're new here and all.
Boyfriend: Truce?
Alex smiled.
Alex: Truce.
During their final moments of detention, the group chatted together and actually got along. They had so much fun that they lost track of time and had to exchange phone numbers.
Maybe things wouldn't be so bad after all.
