Funk Middle School was known for 2 things. The first thing was its name. I don't think the parents liked it.
The second thing was its students. Most of them weren't even human which kinda scared everyone living near the school.
Whitty was one of the popular kids, mostly because everyone wanted to be just as tall as him.
What most of them didn't know was his traumatic backstory. More on that later.
Anyway, aside from his best friend Hex (more on him later), Whitty never really hung out with anyone.
And then a certain 6th grader with cyan hair and a red cap challenged him to a rap battle.
Boyfriend: Hey! You! Wanna have a rap battle?
Whitty: Huh?
Boyfriend: Do you wanna rap battle with me?
Whitty: Uh, no thanks, kiddo.
Of course, Boyfriend, being Boyfriend didn't back down.
Boyfriend: Why not? Are you scared or something?
That was the trigger.
Whitty: You know what? Fine. I'll rap battle with you.
The rap battle was intense. So intense, that a crowd began to form.
Hex: Woo! Go Whitty!
Pico: You can do it BF!
Of course, Boyfriend won, which kind of pissed off Whitty. He didn't like to lose.
Whitty: I was just going easy on you, kid. How about one more?
Boyfriend: Bring it on!
Boyfriend eventually won again. Now Whitty was really pissed.
Whitty: ALRIGHT, ONE LAST TIME!
Boyfriend: OH YEAH!
I don't really think I need to tell you that Boyfriend won again. Now Whitty was 200% pissed.
Long story short, the rap battle did not end well.
And now, it's time for a time skip to present day.
While Boyfriend was walking down the hall, he noticed someone. Someone familiar.
Then that familiar someone walked up to him, and it was clear who it was.
Whitty: Look, I'm sorry about what happened.
Boyfriend: It's fine.
Whitty: What? You're just fine with it?
Boyfriend: Look pal, I have a few friends with anger issues. I know what it's like.
