I feel like some things in this story may be confusing. So here are some headcanons that may or not be important to the plot (if there is one).
1. Senpai joined the group during the summer before they started high school
2. Girlfriend and Boyfriend also started dating during the summer
3. Luca has been in love with Charli since the beginning of his sophomore year. The only people who know about his crush at this time are Levi, Pico, and possibly Sora
4. Unfortunately for Luca, Charli still has a crush on Light, which started at the same time as Luca began developing feelings for Charli
5. Jaxx and Sora started dating last year
