"We have to find Vance we can't just leave him!" I scream and cry

"We can't that's the police's job y/n I'm not going!" My sister screams back

"You're worthless katelyn! You only care about yourself this is why only teachers like you JUST FOR YOUR LOOKS!" I scream and slam her door

Thank god dad wasn't home cause I'm borrowing a few things
I get a gun from his closet and a knife from his drawers so I'm ready this is no time to cry I need to find Vance even if I die
I never realized how much I care for him I am risking my life that I love just to save him
Me and Vance had plans big ones that we could take over the world with and i am not letting those plans die
I walk down the street with a duffel bag hiding the gun and knife so it would not look to suspicious
"Im getting you pinball boy" I say looking a a missing poster
I was never close with Gwen blake but I needed her to help me
I walked up to her house and pounded on the door

"Gwen I need your help!" I yell waiting for someone to answer

Finney opens the door and about gets hit in the face due to me knocking "hey clam down what's wrong"

"I need your sister for her power thing" I say looking above and behind him looking for Gwen

"Gwen! Y/n needs you!" Finney screams

"Keep it down finney!" His father screamed

He looks like a drunk

"Coming!" Gwen says running to the door "what do you need y/n"

"I need you to help me find Vance did your power do anything" I say looking stressed

"Gwen don't have powers her dreams are just dreams right gwenny" mr. Blake said rudely

"Yes daddy.. but can I still go?" She said about to jump off the ground

"To find hopper definitely not!" Her father screamed

"Sir I was only joking I want to go to the park" I smile

"Fine but have gwenny back soon before the street lights" he said returning to his newspaper

"Hey y/n can I come?" Finney asked wanting to get away from his father

"Sure why not now come on!" I say running and holding the duffel bag tight

"Okay Gwen what house did you say?" I say looking at all the house numbers then stopping

Gwen and finney stop behind me "uh I think it's that house" she points to the grabbers house

"Okay here's the plain you and finney be like the Girl Scouts and ask if he wants to buy cookies then lead him off away from the door then I'll sneak in and get Vance" I say smiling

"What happened if this goes wrong?" Finney asked a bit worried

"I have a knife and gun so I'm prepared and I can protect you guys now let's go" I begin to ride to the house

Gwen and finney are at the door talking to the grabber and my headache started then they were backing up to make him come towards them the grabber tried to grab them so they took off running with the grabber chasing him
I quickly run around looking for where he was till I heard a creek in a metal door and heard someone going up the stairs I walked towards the door and heard them run back down and close the door so I rushed down the stairs and pushed with all my night and I saw him the shaggy blonde boy the tough one hidden in a corner charging at me I hurry and dodge

"Y/n? You're here!" He cried and hugged me "I was so scared"

I hugged him back Ignoring the headache that was forming "we have to get out of here before he comes back" I grab his hand and pull him up the stairs and through the door

I walked to the closest house and told them to call 911
I watched the grabber get arrested and when the cop car drove away my headache was gone I noticed i had a problem
I walked up to Vance while he had the blanket on and I hugged him he pulled me back and pecked my lips considering we were both still young to do anything serious

"I am so sorry for being a bitch to you that one day they- they were just making fun of me for liking you" he said continuing the hug

"Well.. I love you Vance hopper" I said smiling

"I love you to y/n y/l/n and thank you"
