Y/N loves the outdoors always has ever since he was born in this apocalyptic world he never got the sense of what the world looked like before only from books he has read in the past.
He picked up a stone looking at the water feeling the rhythm in his fingers it skims the water leaving a cute little trail bringing a smile to his face "You're quite good at that" the familiar voice of his father Victor L/N with this smug look on his face.
"Yeah, I've had a lot of practice" Y/N glared at him with annoyance walking past the old guy not wanting to talk.
Y/N family relations didn't expand well Father, Mother and a twin sister who is like the favourite child she got all the attention turning love into hatred. He completely just wanted to be alone without any attachment to a single person.
Before Y/N and his Sister were born their parents along a group of survivors banded together to create this structure base to stop forever running from infected my mum with her background in Science worked the medical bay.
His father worked the mechanical station helping build the walls defence to ward off the infected and keep everyone safe, he brought his sister into the game training her in how it works.
"Look, how much fish i caught" his father said trying to get him interested

Victor sighed not getting the reaction he hoped for just walked behind his boy listening to the sweet melody of nature.
At the base Samantha L/N study's the strain of the virus she received from an infected trying to find the genetic code for it instead she always came up short pouring whiskey into a glass it helped soothe her.
"wish my husband was here, i hate drinking alone" she thought not knowing what time it is.
While walking Y/N kicked a rock that when it hit something made a hissing glugging sound "Stay here" he demanded whacking leafs out the way finding a purple plant with the rock stuck in it, Victor pulled the rock out when it dispenses a liquid that hits him. Victor wheezes clutching at his chest with Y/N rushing to his side "Dad, dad!" he helped his dad up guiding him to camp in hopes it isn't bad.
At base. Samantha rushed out with the other doctors getting to the front, Her husband was carried onto a gurney by his shocked son who backed away running towards the mechanic garage.
Y/N sat on a chair completely emotionless not wanting to acknowledge what's just gone on with his father
Clicker Clatter of shoes hit the ground he recognised them storming in is his sister who doesn't wait to hear answers attacks Y/N with slaps "What did you do!" she repeated over and over again until other people had to hold her back
"I hate You!" she screamed causing Y/N to run away in tears.
In the med bay lab Victor thrashes around puking up yellow vomit choking on it his wife trying to keep him steady while her assistant grabs a box taking out a needle marked "Cure test 1" he hands it to her.
