At the Butterfly Manor, in the next morning, the others were excited to have more freedom as they were allowed to explore the rest of the Seireitei, which is a place where there are many things to see and do. The main one is a cave with several markers all around the cave.
As they went inside this cave, which was names on all the markers and which Union they served. As you can see, the Seireitei is run by 13 Samurai guards, a union that involves 13 teams.
After that, Lance and the others returned to the Butterfly Manor, where they decided to take a little walk around the grounds.
They had been told not to worry about getting lost since it was just a simple manor, and that they could go anywhere they wanted to without any restrictions.
In the meantime, Shiro and Keith were having problems of their own.
"Isn't it about time you came to training, Keith. Sulking and feeling sorry for yourself won't do you any good." Shiro said.
"I am not sulking, I am thinking about it." Keith said.
"Thinking about what." Shiro said.
"Like when are we going to leave this place." Keith said.
"I don't know, according to Lance, we just have to wait until we recover." Shiro said.
"Well, just tell them my injury's taken a turn for the worse!" Keith said.
Shiro nodded his head. "We will get our feet under us."
Keith said, "And then we'll be free again?"
"Yeah yeah sure." Shiro said.
Later, out in the courtyard. Shiro practices his breathing as he remembers that the little girls told him about Constitution breathing and how the Hashiras manage to do it all night and all day.
"Total Concentration Breathing. Morning, noon, and night. Even while I'm asleep, I said I'd try to keep it up around the clock, but... I can't do it at all! I can't do it! If I try to do Total Concentration Breathing longer, it makes me feel like I'm gonna die! It's too painful! My lungs hurt! My ears hurt! My ears are ringing like crazy!" Shiro through as he hears a loud noise and covers his ears.
Then, with the sound stopped, he starts breathing again.
He doesn't want to give himself more pain.
The next morning, Shiro is still trying to breathe normally and again and again, it keeps on scaring the heck out of him as for a second there, he thought my heart had burst through my ears!
"I'll never make it at this rate! When you're in trouble, go back to basics!" Shiro said to himself. "You spineless fool!"
As Shiro laughed, esthetical, the three girls, known as Kiyo, Sumi, and Naho were watching Shiro from around a corner as Shiro
takes a deep breath.
"Breathing is all about the lungs. If I can't get the hang of it, that means my lungs are too weak." Shiro said to himself. "Work at it! All I can do is work hard! That's the story of my life! Hard work is the sum of daily efforts! It can be one step at a time! Move forward!
Right! I just need some help with the airway."
Kiyo said. "Master Shiro is working hard every day!"
Sumi said "Yes! Let's bring him some rice balls, okay?"
Naho said. "Good idea! And also..."
Sometime later. Kiyo, Sumi, and Naho present Shiro with two gourds.
