Chapter twelve: Zarkon vs Keith

Well, it looks like Adam was right!" Sendak said, he pulled out his gun and stood ready to fight.

"You again, are you getting tired of dealing with us!" Lance questioned as he and the others got out their weapons.

"Not exactly!" Sendak warned as he held Hunk in restraints.

"Hunk!" Lance cried.

"I'm sorry!" Hunk whispered.

"You let him go right now!" Keith shouted as the soldiers surround them.

"Gladly, surrender!" Sendak said.

Keith looked around and saw Kosmo behind the soldiers with eyes looking at him.

"Not today, bastard!" Keith said.

"What-?" In a large explosion of light, Sendak turned back as he saw a miraculous burst of light grow behind him as he watched helplessly as Kosmo burst forth and bite him on the arm.

"Haaaaaahhh!" Sendak yelled, slamming him straight to the ground with a thunderous crash.

Kosmo panted heavily, never feeling as exhausted as he had at this point since all that teleporting knocked him out but he did save Hunk from the Galra commander.

"Hunk!" Lance cried as quickly ran towards his distressed friend. "Are you okay!"

"No, I'm not fine but I will be!" Hunk said as Pidge removed the restraints from his one after the other.

"Get them!" Sendak ordered as he got up and ordered the Galra soldiers to attack them.

Back at the cells, Kiaion watched as Shiro and Adam's swords clashed with a bitter clang, Shiro's feet slid over the metal floor as he fought to gain the advantage.

At last, Adam threw Shiro off. With a lash of his whiplike sword, he yanked the sword from Shiro's hands, "Did you need that, bitch?" he said.

Shiro landed a kick that sent Adam to the ground, he caught his sword easily, then threw it away. "Nah!"

"Seriously, you're still the same as usual." Adam said.

"And you are still a jerk a stupid jerk." Shiro said.

"What do you expect? The Galra is giving me something, something that you never did." Adam said.

"Oh really, harming enslaving people, those are the things that the Galra is giving you now." Shiro said.

"I can see why they want to harm you, we'll have no problem killing anyway. " Adam threatened.

"Go jump in the river," Shiro snapped back.

"Try to understand, I need, we need in order to restore something we both lost, our home, we don't belong here and perhaps in exchange, I can restore something you lost," Zuko said, trying to be reasonable before pulling out the quintessence Crystal.

Shiro's breath hitched, seeing the chain and stone.

"The Quintessence Crystal! How did you get that?" Shiro exclaimed.

"I didn't steal it, I just found it somewhere, and if you want it, come and get it." Adam said.

With a quick crust in anger, Shiro grabbed his sword and began to attack Adam once again as he had already gotten the Quintessence Crystal for himself.

In the meantime, Keith and company did their best to cut down the Galra forces, Pidge used her Katar to take down a soldier, while Lance used his ice powers to freeze several sentries in their place with Keith and Hunk destroyed them with their weapons, by either cutting them down or blasting them.
