Chapter thirty-two: Shiro's power within

In the forest of the mountain, Shiro tries to slice through War's spider thread, but his sword breaks.

Shiro is surprised that his sword was sliced by a spider in the forest! So he dodges, but the thread still slices his face.

Causing him to land on the ground and look at his sword.

"No way! My sword...! I didn't cut it!" Shiro said.

Elsewhere, in the forest of the mountain, Lance catches his breath after Scoin defeats Conquest.

"Amazing! He's on a different level! The force of his stroke is in a different class! He's head and shoulders above the rest!" Lance thought as he was admiring Scoin as he slashed that tough-as-nails monster like tofu!

"Hey, hey can you tell me what happened." Scoin said.

So Lance tells Scoin what happened here,

saying he had no idea on how he arrive here,

Then Scoin told Lance about what happened to his people.

But before Lance could finish up with Scoin, Lance took another hit to his chest, which caught him some great pain as there were great injuries on his body, so did Pidge.

So Scoin said, "You're going to need more time to heal...there's a group that might help."

And so, Lance and Pidge went with Dawn and Lizry went to that group that Scoin was talking about.

Afterward, At Hunk's location, he was breathing heavily as Oilon stood over him.

"Oh my! Are you all right, Hunk? Oilon said.

"Dad..." Hunk replied. He then started crying.

"Who are you calling "Dad"?" Oilon asked.

"Just now, Dad showed up, and told me not to give up." Hunk said.

"Oh, you saw your life flashing before your eyes." Oilon said as he prepared an antidote. "According to one theory, the reason one sees such images just before death is because you're searching for a way to avoid death by going through all your past experiences and memories. Well, not that I can say for sure, since I've never experienced it myself...Right, you did a good job slowing down the poison's path with your breathing. If you hadn't been able to do that, you would've turned into a spider long ago.

I'll inject you with an antidote now, okay? "

As Oilon injects the antidote into Hunk's infected hand, Oilon says, "We will wait until you have enough energy to fight it.

"Hurry! Over here, over here!" A voice appeared as Hunk sees the Crystal Jems

clean-up crew down below.

"Can we get them down?" Another one said

"Be careful, okay?" One of them said, "It's all good! Everyone's still alive!"

Back at Shiro's location, he was prepared to fight War with his broken sword.

"My sword got snapped! I can't believe it! The threads this boy is controlling... Does that mean they're even tougher than the body of that demon I couldn't slash? Forgive me, Sokka! Thanks to my inexperience, my sword is now broken!" Shiro said to himself.

As War whips a spider thread at Shiro again, but Shiro dodges the attacks.

"No, this isn't the time for that! Think! Think!

If I can't slash those threads, then let me get right up in his face! It's no good! Those threads have a life of their own, and I can't get through their attacks. Even though he's holding back enough not to kill me, he's still overwhelming me to this degree!" Shiro said to himself.
