Gus' POV
I know im a bright red right now..AHHHH WHY IS MATTY SO SWEETTTT HE CALLED MY SMILE NICE!Oh!it seems he really likes thd mysterious orbs tho and hes smiling more:)
"You really like these dont you Matty?"i said in an intrigued tone
"Well yeah!They are delicous!"He replied excitedly with a bit of food in his mouth.
[Gus is meantally kicking is legs in the air rn]
"Well should we head back to my place now?" I said awaiting for his answer
"Can i get one moree??PLEASEE?"Matty said sounding like a little kid begging for more sweets at the end.
"O-OH"i clear my thoat a bit."Yeah sure Matty go ahead!!"I reply a bit of a blushing mess while matt seemed too focused on the food to notice.PHEW
"THANKS GUS"He said with a cute little smile teeth bearing and all. :)
Matts POV
OHH I LOVE MYSTERIOUS ORBS THEY TASTE SO GOOD sooo I got one before going to gus' house!:D
"One mysterious orb please!"I say tapping my feet on the grohnd because i was excited!Well for two things Gus' house and the sweet pastry!I get it and pay and walk over to Gus he looks red and when i realise i was staring i also turn redd WHY IS GUS SO NICE TO MEE?!?!?
"HEY GUS"I say trying to act natural but failing..miserably-
I scramble together the right words and say
"Are we gonna go to your house?Also what are we gonna do?Or are we gonna just make it up along the way????"i stopped after that with my sentance feeling incomplete as i was rambling a bit.
On the way to Gus' house we wind up touching hands a few times by mistake i paniced a bit as my hand we as rought as tree bark!Construction doesnt do much for my hands thats for sure.....
Once we reach his house we go inside and see his dad cleaning up their coffee table in the sitting room.
"Hey dad!"Gus called out
I smiled awkwardly in the moment as i didnt know what else to do then really
"Hey Gus!" His dad said back
"Is this Mattholomule the one thats meant to stay over??"He asked adding onto his sentance.
"Mhm!"Gus gave him a stare as if he didnt want his dad to mention something i wonder what it was?
"Alright you boys go have fun!And dont do anything you will regret!"Gus' dad said
"DAD WE ARE 12!Well Matty is 13,BUT Y'KNOW WHAT I MEAN!"Gys replied aquite red at the comment and to be honest i was a bit red aswell i just sorta stood there until Gus grabbed my hand and pulled me upstairs to his room.
We stopped holding hands when we got to his room and as i was rubbing my hand he ran to i think hide something?
"Gus what was that about?"I asked staring at the desk behind him.
"Ohhh its nOTHiNg"he replied,i chuckled a bit atbthe voice crack and them tackled him playfully.
"C'mon Gus you gotta show meee!!!!"I said with a teasing tone.
Gus didnt say anything but instead looks at the position we were in.
"EEEEP"I said jumpjng back i ended up banging my head off his desk"OUCHHH"I said rubbing my head.I look up and saw a loose nail under the desk a scraped my head off ,then i look at my hand it has some blood on it.
"Ewwww its bleeding"I say
"Oh noooo!!!I SWEAR I DDINT MEAN FOR THAT TO HAPPEN!!Follow me ill clean it up so it wont get infected!"He replied basically dragging me to the bathroom where he patched up my cut.
"Hehehehhhh...Second time patching me up today huh?"I said trying to ease the tension.
"Mhm!I dont mind you being clumsy really cause then i have somrone to look after!Now this might hurtttt"He said back to me as he cleaned my cut.I made a slight hiss as he cleaned my cut.
I was sitting there just looking into his eyes i didnt know what else to do when he kissed my cut out of nowher!I sat there shocked and a blushing mess trying to comprehend what just happened when he was already apologising.
"OH MY TITAN IM SO SORRY MATTY I SWEAR IT WONT HAPPEN AGAIN PLEASE DONT LET THIS MAKE THE WHOLE THING AWKWARDDD"
"Oh..Oh!Yea its okay i dont mind it.!"I said trying to act normal and like i fully understood what was happening after i realised what happened i blushed EVEN HARDER i knew he probaly [keyword:probaly] meant nothing by it but it still was nice to get affection my ears were teitching like crazy as i was quite flustered by the whole thing [idea from multiple stories i have read]
After he patched me up we decided to do some baking we baked some not-dogs [i found online it was a boiling isles dessert dont judge me😭]The steps were straight foward but Gus made me wear an apron it protected my uniform atleast i guess the baking was so fun thouhh!We took turns mixing because it was just really satisfying really after we finish the not-dogs we raid the fridge for sweets and head to his room to watch a movie!
Somehow he persuaded me into watching a horror movie even though i HATED jumpscares or disfigured human looking things he knew this and just wanted to teast me i bet you!During the movie i crept closer to Gus as he said i could if i didnt hide under the blanket I kept squeezing his hand as a result and kept apologising afterwards becaus eit was really quite awkward to hold your friends hand during a horror movie!Plus i looked like a total wuss!!I was really embarrassed afterwards-..
"Matty its okay!I get it you dont like horror movies I shouldnt have made you watch it its not your fault!"Gus said to me
Upon hearing those words i felt quite flustered as he sounded really worried.
"Well i sorta though i had made you uncomfortable thats all.."I said a bit quietly refraining from eye contact.
"Dont worry you didnt make me uncomfortable Matty!"Gus said smiling.
Then i remembered he was hiding something when j got here-!
"Oh hey off topic but uhh what were you hiding earlier today?You gotta tell me!"i asked in a teasing voice.
Gus' POV
I paniced but i knew i had to be honest with his they were his after all.
I let out a dramatic sigh "Fineeee ill tell you."I said feeling embarrassed.
"YES!!"Matty said smiling ,it was really sweet!I walk over to my desk and pul out his artifacts from the desk drawer.
"I kept your fake artifacts from when you took my place as president i dont know why i did i just sorta did.i guess i wanted to be reminded there was a chabce of us being friends?Look at us now haha!"i said awkwardky despratley trying to hide my embarassment.
Matty looked a bit happy?
"Thats actually really sweet and its nice to know atleast you had faith in me!"He replied also turning red.
"Oh uhm thank you Matty!"I said back out of sheer confusion really.
"I should be the one thanking you and uhm i was wondering if i can aska stupid question-?"Matty said i wasnt sure what he meant really but i just replied with "Oh uhm yeah!Okay go ahead!"
Matty took a deep breath and said
"DO YOU MAYBE WANNA GO OUT?LIKE ROMANTICALLY GO OUT-?!"He looked like a blushing mess!In all fairness so was i a blsuhing mess "YES!!"I said excited ly i didnt know what we were meant to do then Matty got up awkwardly and gave me a kiss on the cheek![smooth move matt smooth move]I blushed so hard and so did Matty.
"Well?"I said "Are we like dating now?"
"Do you want to?"Said Matty.
"Yeah,yeah!I'd like that!"I replied.
