Matt scoffed with a bright red face as Gus was laughing.
"Want some soup?"Gus said handing the flustered boy a plastic bowl and a spoon.
"Yeah please."Matt said trying to hide how flustered he was about what had happened he got some soup and was happy to find out it was vegetable his favourite!
"I know your kinda a picky eater so i decided to pick your favourite soup!"Gus said with a smile causing Matts stomach to do flips!
"Thanks Gus I love vegetable soup its really good!"Matt said smiling with his teeth a bit but when he noticed he quickly shut his mouth.
"Why do you not smile with your teeth?I think it looks nice when you do!"Gus said catching Matt off guard causing his eyes to widen.
"Well UHH I dont know maybe it was narky comments from Glandus kids on how it looked or how it happened or maybe because bria always mocked me because of it i dont know i just think its quite ugly to be honest.." Matt explained in a quiet voice trying to not kill the mood.
"Oh Matty you know those glandus kids were good-for-nothing punks they were always rude to you amd tried playing the hero near important people!They have irrelavant opinions!Inferior if you may."Gus said going near the upset boy and kissing him on the cheek.
