"Mommy." Clara heard and smiled as she looked to see her three year old on her bed causing her to look a Jenna.

"She wanted her mother."

"Yet, somehow, you are the favorite." She says smiling. "Aunt Jenna, do you think things will go back to normal?"

"It will and this little angel will have her a daddy." Jenna says looking at her. "You need to get her to day care."

Clara smiled as she had to go to the store. "Nah, I'm taking my baby with me and spend some time with her."

Jenna nodded as she walked out. "I'll make a list of what I need."

The oldest Gilbert shook her head as she knew her aunt knew where she was going. Looking at her daughter, Clara hopes that one day, she will meet someone that will love her and her daughter.

Walking around town, Clara pushed her stroller around as she listens to Mara-Belle have the time of her life. The eldest Gilbert smiled as she listened to her daughter point out what she sees. "She's cute." She heard causing her to look and see a man with dark hair.

"Thank you." She says.

"No problem." He says.

"Nice to see you again, Damon." She says.

"Mommy!"

The two looked at the little girl who was wanting out. Clara smiled as she got her daughter out, but when she turned around, Damon was gone. She shrugged as she put her daughter down on the ground causing her to walk behind her.

Damon was curious about the woman and her child. She was beautiful, but he had to focus on get the one woman he loves. Katherine, but he won't deny there is an attraction to Clara. He must know more about her.

Clara pushed her daughter around and decided to see if Stefan needed anything and Zach. She went to the boarding house with her daughter smiling. She knew Mara-Belle was asleep, but hopefully she stays asleep as she was just checking on the new student. She knocked on the door, but the door opened. "Okay." She says. "Zach? Stefan?"

The oldest Gilbert knew not to walk in as she wasn't welcomed in, but with the way the door was opened, she had a bad feeling that something was wrong. She heard her daughter waking up causing her to get her out of the stroller. "Hello? Is anyone hurt?"

Mara-Belle laughed as she saw a bird. Clara turned to see why Mara was laughing just to turn around and see Damon. "Hi." He says.

"Hi." She says. "The door was open and I thought someone was hurt."

"Nah." He states. "It's just me, but thank you for your concern."

Mara-Belle walked over to Damon and raised her arms up causing Clara to watch Damon pick her up. "I'm sorry..."

"No, it's fine." He says as he actually felt different. He was going to scare Clara, but something about the idea and this little girl just bothered him. "Where's her father?"

"Long gone."

Damon nodded as the two heard Elena. Clara turned around as her daughter started playing with her hair. Elena stopped and tried her best not to say a word that she saw a family standing in front of her. "Is Stefan here?"

"No. I came to check on him and Zach. I wanted to see if the students are treating him right."

"Always working."

Clara gave her sister a look as she turned around. "I'm going to go..."

"No." Mara-Belle cried out causing Damon to look at her.

Clara sighed as she knew her daughter wanted to stay in one place for a moment. Damon looked at Clara. "It's fine." He says. "Does she need her diaper change?"

"Yeah. Do you have a room I can change her in?"

Damon pointed towards the living room causing him to hand over Mara-Belle. He watched the beautiful woman walk to the couch so she can change her. Clara didn't know that Damon was scaring or upsetting her sister as she was focused on her daughter. Mara-Belle was laughing as her mom was being goofy.

"Why is she here?"

"She thought someone got hurt plus she came to check on you and see how school is."

Damon watched Stefan go to Clara Gilbert. He wasn't too happy when she looked up at him and talked his brother. He watched closely just to see Mara-Belle running back to him. Damon smiled as he picked her up as Stefan looked at his brother. He was worried for Clara and her daughter. Damon is dangerous and he was going to do everything to keep them safe from him.
