(Scaramouche POV)

"You are finally now bring put into the machine, Scaramouche." Dottore says.

My eyes widen. I was just about to become a God. Dottore brought me to the machine that he was going to put me in. He attached tubes into my back that connects me to the machine. I had already been told that the Gnosis was in the middle of the machine.

"Now, you will need Divine Canned Knowledge to further develop your intelligence that is of a God." Dottore says. Throughout the course of a few days, Divine Canned Knowledge was given to me. Each time I feel myself getting closer to God hood.

It was getting closer to Jnagarbha day. Dottore told me that on that day it would be the last batch of Divine Canned Knowledge that he would give me. After that I will then become a God.

(Y/n POV)

You follow Alhaitham, Paimon and Lumine into the Akademiya. Alhaitham was of course in front of the three of you.

"What's this platform for?" Paimon asks.

"It's a lift that Akademiya personnel use to access higher floors." Alhaitham says while looking back at Paimon. He then turns around to look at all of you.

"Are we going to take it, then? The Grand Sage's office is up there somewhere." You ask.

"No, not right now." Alhaitham says. "We can't guarantee that we won't run into the Grand Sage. Let's step back for now." Alhaitham suggested.

"Oh..." You mumble in embarrassment. You follow Alhaitham underneath the lift.

"You think the Grand Sage will exit from there?" Paimon asks. "And after he does, we'd sneak past him..? Paimon thinks that's really dangerous."

"I agree with Paimon. We don't know if there will be any guards up their as well." You say.

"Who knows. However, if we can confirm Azar's current location, our operation will be much safer if we-"

"-Allow me to offer you a hint. If you wish to know his location... look behind you." You hear a voice boom from behind you.

"Shit-"

"Busted..."

"Ah! Y- you're... what is the Grand Sage, Azar doing here?" Paimon stutters. Then all of a sudden you were now surrounded by guards.

"Hmph..." Alhaitham hummed. You look around to try and find an escape but there was no chance.

"Do not tell me you believed that the Akademiya would not grow suspicious of you after such a prolonged absence... Scribe." Azar declares, he put his hands on his hips. "An eyewitness had informed me of your whereabouts, so I came to personally welcome you."

"Great Sage, I didn't expect you to care so much about me. I'm truly flattered." Alhaitham says.

"I'm sure... but compared to you, I am far more interested in these three unexpected guests. You are... Paimon, The Traveler and Y/n... Correct?" Azar says with his hand on his chin. "Althought, I don't know much about Y/n... infact I've never heard of her at all before now."
