(Y/n POV)
Flash back

"Alright then, we'll see you later, Nahida!" Paimon squeaks. The three of you leave the Sanctuary of Surasthana. You then turn to Lumine.

"Lumine... if you don't mind, can we uh... do some more sword training?" You ask.

"Yeah sure, we can do that." Lumine says.

"Oh, Paimon is so nervous for the confrontation." Paimon whines. You follow Lumine out of Sumeru City as she brings you to a group of fungi.

"Uh... Lumine? What are we doing here?" Paimon asks. Lumine turns around to look at Paimon.

"Well, Y/n asked me if I could train with her for a little long... so to practice, I decided she can practice against real enemies." Lumine says.

"Oh! You are really smart Lumine!"  Paimon praises. Lumine smiles at Paimon's praise.

"Anyway... Y/n, go ahead and attack those fungi over there." Lumine says while pointing to the group of fungi.

"Are you sure I'll be okay?" You ask. Lumine nods her head.

"Of course, I'll be here if you get into trouble." Lumine reassures you. You walk over to the group of fungi with your sword. You had alerted the fungi. You take a deep breath in, and you exhale. You raise up your sword and swung it at the fungi how Lumine taught you to. You swing again and the fungi bounced back a bit.

"You're doing great!" Paimon yells. You glance back at Paimon and Lumine and smile. As you were distracted you didn't notice the fungi was about to strike you. "Y/n! Watch out!" Paimon shouts. You turn your head and see the fungi was basically about to fall on top of you. Everything was moving in slow motion. You raise your sword up in front of you, and you do a downwards slash attack against the fungi. The fungi fell back and then disintegrated. You see that the two other fungi that was watching you kill their fungi friend. The two other fungi rush towards you in anger. You slash your sword upwards causing the two fungi to fall back onto each other. You walked closer to the fungi and swung your sword at them one more time. Just like the other fungi they also disintegrated. You hear footsteps walk up behind you. You turn around to see Lumine and Paimon standing there.

"You did so well!" Lumine says, while clapping her hands.

"Yeah! You took them out within a blind of an eye!" Paimon exclaims while proudly imitating your movements.

"Thanks you two..." You smile.

"It must be harder to fight without a vision though..." Paimon says.
