"Aargh, don't lock us up! Let us out!" Paimon screams at the locked door. "Waaah!"

"That's enough, Paimon. I don't think the guards can hear us anymore." Lumine says with her arms crossed. You look at Paimon a bit annoyed. Her screaming was pretty annoying.

"Oh yeah, hehe... Paimon got a bit carried away there. How was Paimon's acting just now? Great huh?" Paimon giggles as she floats her way over to you and Lumine.

"Marvelous." Lumine says. Paimon turns to you.

"Y/n! How was my acting?" Paimon asks. You look at Lumine.

"To be honest, it was pretty bad. Lumine I can't believe you lied to Paimon." You laugh. Paimon furrows her eyebrows and glares at you.

"Y/n! Paimon thought her acting was amazing. Anyway everything's going according to plan so far! We made it into confinement, and Alhaitham's probably done his part, too." Paimon says.

"Now we can finally relax!" You exclaimed.

"We even managed to trick Grand Sage Azar. Alhaitham sure knows how to cook up a plan." Paimon says. Paimon looks at you once more. "What are we doing next? Paimon has trouble remembering things when she's worked up..."

"We could always review what we had discussed during the strategy meeting." You say.

"Right, right! Paimon thinks it went something like this..." Paimon squeaks.

Flash back

"...Apart from that, we still have yet another goal in the first stage of our operation, which is to send Lumine and Y/n to the confinement room." Alhaitham says.

"What?! Why do we want to lock up Lumine and Y/n on purpose?" Paimon yells.

"Firstly, Lumine's always been the person the sages are most afraid of, as well as the greatest obstacle to the successful implementation of their plan. They are very aware of the risk she poses to them." Alhaitham explains. "Secondly, Y/n is present because as soon as they are released from the confinement room, Lumine and Y/n will immediately make their way to the Sanctuary of Surasthana to meet with Lesser Lord Kusanali, to then confront the Balladeer."

"Oh." Paimon mumbles.

"Once Lumine and Y/n are imprisoned, the sages will likely think that everything is under control... and with their guard down, the next phase of our plan will have a much higher chance of success." Alhaitham says.

"Hmph, I can already see the pompous looks on their faces." Cyno smirks.

"Oh, that's a super tricky plan. But, Paimon still thinks it's not really worth it..." Paimon whines.
