"Huh- Y/n?" You hear Scaramouche's voice ring through your head.

"Are you okay?" You ask.

"Y/n? How?" Scaramouche says. "No it can't be... it's probably just my imagination..."

"No! I'm real, this isn't your imagination." You exclaimed. "Tell me, are you okay?"

"Oh, uh I'm fine... I guess." Scaramouche says. "But you need to stop talking with me entirely. I don't have any use for you anymore, since I have the missing Gnosis."

You felt your eyes widen. Tears began to well up in your eyes.

"I don't have any use for you anymore."

The words kept replaying in the back of your head.

"Oh... okay. Sorry for bothering you then, Scaramouche." You say trying to fight back the tears. It was then quiet.

"Uh, well that didn't go well..." Nahida says. "Don't worry I disconnected your thoughts with him."

"Thanks anyway, Nahida." You mumble. You pressed your knees against your chest. You hear footsteps walking towards you. You look up but your vision was blurred with the tears.

"Hey, Y/n? Are you okay?" You hear Paimon ask. You put your head back into your knees. Lumine and Paimon run to your side.

"Hey, what's wrong?" Lumine asks. You keep your head in your knees but you told them everything that happened.

"Ugh! That jerk." Paimon yells. "When we go confront him, Lumine! Give him a piece of your mind."

"No-" You say. "Don't..." You mumble.

"Huh?" Paimon hummed. "Wait, do you like... the Balladeer?" Paimon asks. You felt your face heat up. You shook your head.

"No! I don't..." You deny, but you knew that was a complete utter lie.

"Y/n... you don't have to lie to us, and most importantly, yourself." Lumine says.

"But-"

"Yeah, don't deny your feelings! Even though the Balladeer is with the Fatui and a bad guy and all- but still." Paimon exclaims.

"I'm pretty sure he didn't want to say those things to you. I think he was just afraid that if you continue to be involved with him... something bad will happen to you. So he must really care about you." Lumine says trying to comfort you.

"Please... I don't need your pity party." You mumble.

"We're just trying to help!" Paimon says.

I was resting inside of the machine until I hear something.

"Scaramouche! Are you alright?" I heard Y/n's voice say. My eyes widen.

"Huh- Y/n?" I say.
