Kaia and Aris sat at the end of a table in the busy hall with there hoods drawn on their heads, quietly looking around in suspicion.
They watched as a new group sat down cheerfully with another group of boys.
"Think they will be the ones who will help get us out of this shit hole." Kaia whispered to her best friend, while she twisted her knife around under the table away from looking eyes.
"Yeah, him." Aris replied back nodding his head over to guy that walked in last after the group.
"A little scrawny but promising." Kaia blunty agreed, making Aris shake his head fondly.
"Now eat, and knives away." Aris sternly told his best friend with a stern look on his young face, Aris become even more protective of her especially because it's just the two of them now.
"Fine Dad." Kaia snarked back, shoving food in her mouth with a sarcastic smile towards him.
"Shush Kai." Aris fondly replied back, making Kaia stick her tongue at him in return.

Thomas stood looking around at the hall filled with different people, who all seemed oddly cheerful.
"Hey, Thomas!" Minho called out jogging over to him.
"Hey, Minho, what's going on?" Thomas questioned starting to walk with Minho.
"We weren't the only maze." Minho replied back before pointing towards a table and walking there with Thomas following him. "Come on."
"And there was this big, loud explosion, and these guys came out of nowhere. Started shooting up the place. It was intense. They pulled us out of the maze and brought us here." A boy from one of the mazes was heard telling his story of escaping, when Thomas and Minho sat down at the table with them.
"What about the rest?" Newt curiously asked with a hint of british accent you could just hear. "The other people left behind in the maze, what happened to them?"
"I don't know. I guess WICKED still has them." The boy cluelessly replied back.
Newt looked at him in question, "How long you guys been here?"
"Not long. Just a day or two." The boy informed them.
"Those kids over there has been here the longest. Almost a week. His maze was nothing but girls. She is the youngest ever to go into a maze, she was only 10." The boy told them looking over to the figures sitting together with their hoods on their heads.
Newt looked at young girl confused why his heart squeezed painfully looking towards her and why he felt like he knew her.
"Really?" Minho asked in disbelief for an all girls maze but also someone being that young, while going into the maze.
