1 and half year later A car sat on the dirt road looking over the field sat inside was an older Brenda and Jorge, Brenda's hair grown out towards the bottom of her shoulders and a scarf around her neck.
Jorge picked up his stop watch, "They're late."
The sound of train horns go off making Jorge and Brenda grab their guns and start driving down the dirt hill getting next to he train.
Inside the train sat rows of kids chained to there seats by WCKD, as well as a worn down version of Minho, Aris and Sonya.
Another car came zooming towards the train, "Brenda, we're coming up behind. Keep 'em busy." Thomas spoke through the walkie-talkie.
"Hang on!" An older Kaia called out tuning the car speeding faster towards the train.
Kaia who turned 16 a few moths ago, who's hair has grown tremendously longer as well having no more braids in her hair at all.
Brenda stood up through the sun roof of the car aiming her rifle towards the train, shooting through the window making the driver and security guard duck down, "Call it in!"
"Transport zero-one-niner, we got trouble on the rail line. Mile 23, send backup! Send backup!"
"Roger that. On our way." The WCKD pilot responded.
Kaia sped the car towards the rail road tracks going over them with an excited smirk, "This is crazy!"
Thomas quickly but fondly smirked back at the girl who he has grown to love like a little annoying sister.
Thomas undid the belt climbing out of the window onto the front of the car putting his hand towards the back of the train, "Get me closer!" Thomas locked the hook to ladder of the train before jumping on to the ladder, before turning towards Kaia who was still driving the car, "Come on, Kaia!"
Kaia shook her head muttering as she unbuckled, "The things i do for you people." She climbed out of the window her hands very quickly checking to make sure her two duo swords were still secured on her back before jumping onto the front of the car, just as the front right tire flew off making her jolt down onto the hood.
"Woah, this would be a cool way to die." Kaia blew out air blowing her hair back out of her face as she barely held onto the car, with her head leaning over the edge of the car.
"Kaia!" Thomas concernedly yelled out as Kaia slowly stood back up, before the hook that was holding the car began to rattle against the ladder, "Jump!"
