Kaia was the youngest in the spring, making everyone there fiercely protective of her, teaching her everything there is to know making sure if a time came Kaia would know how to survive on her own.
When Kaia first came up from the box into the spring she grabbed a knife from a supply box holding it out to any of the girls that dared to come close to her, glaring at every single one, before one girl came up making everyone else leave and sat near the opening of the box with her hands up and held toward Kaia, saying her name is Sonya.
Sonya knew from the second she layed eyes on a small girl that was glaring at everyone and everything fiercely like a skittish cat backed into a conner, that little girl was her sister she could tell from the feeling in her heart despite no memory she knew, and she vowed to protect her no matter the cause. Kaia always has little braids in her hair after seeing Sonya always wearing braids, showing she cares for her in her own way.
Anyone with eyes could see the resemblance between the two besides the hair color they looked remarkably similar, like sisters.
When Aris showed into the maze followed by Rachel, the rest of the girls in the maze they knew something was changing they just didn't if that was good or bad yet.
Aris and Kaia automatically became best friends when they met, they felt like they have always known each other, which they had before their memories were wiped.
Group B escaped barely from there maze many lost there life's trying to leave, only very few got into the safe haven, and eventually the ones that did make got picked off by Janson leading them to a unknown place, leaving just Aris and Kaia, who know they need to find a way out and try to find if their friends were even still alive.
Will they reunite with there friends, Will they survive, Will Kaia get split from who she cares about again, Will Kaia every learn more about her past and who she is missing, specifically a brother.
