A few moons had past. Everything seemed peaceful in the forest. Tawnyclaw's belly was swelled with kits. She was due any day now....
REDFANG'S POV:
Her kits are coming today... I know it... She will have more then 2 kits, that's all i know...thought Redfang as she walked in the nursery.
"Hello Tawnyclaw. How are you feeling?" asked the medicine cat.
"I'm feeling pretty good. I have a feeling the kits are going to arrive today..." meowed Tawnyclaw. Redfang dropped a small pile of leafs in front of her.
"I think they're gonna come today to... eat these. They will help your milk come." said Redfang. "Call me if you feel the kits coming." meowed Redfang as she walked out of the nursery. I better go get Snarlclaw... He probably doesn't care though...he doesn't even like her!! she thought as she headed to find the deputy. After a few seconds of search, she saw the tom walk out of the warriors den.
"What do youwant??" hissed Snarlclaw. He gets even more vicious every day... she thought.
"Calm down, Snarlclaw! I just wanted..."
"Don't tell me to calm down!!" hissed Snarlclaw, bearing his teeth. Redfang was ready to rip his ears...
"OK... Tawnyclaw is due any moment now... go see her!" ordered Redfang. Suddenly, there was a high pitched yowl coming from the nursery.
"REDFANG!!! THE KITS ARE...." yowled Tawnyclaw as Redfang dashed into the nursery. Before Redfang could do anything, a small grey kit popped out onto the moss. Redfang looked back. Cats were starting to gather.
"Snarlclaw, lick his fur the oppisite way to keep him worm." ordered Redfang. "It's OK Tawnyclaw...." Redfang grabbed a stick and told Tawnyclaw to bite it as hard as she could. Another little bundle of fur popped out, this one was black.
"Darkstar lick this one!! There's gonna be about 2 more!!" said the medicine cat.
A few minutes past. Three other kits were born. Tawnyclaw had 5 healthy kits, Winterkit, Fallkit, Bigkit, Rosekit and the smallest and weakest, Smallkit. Smallkit almost didnt make it... But he was healthy and strong now!
