Warriors: The life of an evil one

Chapter 10!! :D

It was almost dawn and Snarlclaw was supposed to be organizing the dawn patrol. I hate being deputy!! I want to be leader!!!   I have an idea... thanks to Redfang, i know how many life's he has left... Last one... I will kill him before he wakes up! That way I can be leader!! thought the evil tom. Before heading to the leaders den, Snarlclaw made sure no one was awake. Once he finished inspecting, he headed for the leaders den. He begun to walk inside the den when he heard a sound.  Just the stupid birds... thought Snarlclaw before walking into the den. It was beautiful!! Soon, i will be sleeping in this den! thought the deputy. As he got closer and closer to Darkstar, Snarlclaw unsheathed his claws. When he finally arrived, he bent down.

"Hey Darkstar." meowed Snarlclaw.  Darkstar woke up. He blink in happiness.

"Hello Snarlclaw! What brought you here so early!?" asked the leader. That's when Darkstar realized that Snarlclaw's claws were unsheathed. Darkstar looked confused. Snarlclaw bent down and whispered, "Great StarClan for me, Darkstar... It's my turn to be leader!" Snarlclaw smelt Darkstar's fear scent.

"Wha...."

At that Snarlclaw bite Darkstar neck. It wasn't enough so he clawed his neck. He ripped a small peace of his throat. He was dead. As Snarlclaw turned around, he realized that Blackfur had seen what happened.

"What are you doing! You killed..." Before Blackfur could finish, Snarlclaw pinned him to the ground.

"No one will know how Darkstar was killed... You to, great StarClan for me...." hissed Snarlclaw. He slashed Blackfur's muzzle. He scratched his eyes, making him blind. At last, he gave a deathly blow... and that was it... Dead...

Snarlclaw rushed to the leader's den. He dragged Darkstar's body to the entrance of the camp. He seatled Darkstar down and set of to get Blackfur. He neatly seatled the black warrior beside Darkstar. He was gonna tell the clan that Darkstar and Blackfur died fight a fox. They had to believe that...

At last it was morning. Cats every cat was awake and sharing tongues with the 2 dead cats. Tawnyclaw's kits didn't take any notice that the great leader and the black warrior was dead. All except Smallkit. She rushed to Darkstar's side and licked him. And then after a few licks she rushed to Blackfur's side. She licked him for a while. Then she turned to her littermates.

"Don't you care that our great leader and a warrior is dead!!" asked Smallkit. The other kits just jumped in happiness around there father.

"No we don't caree!! Our fatheris going to be leader now!!" meowed Fallkit, proudly.

"Yeah! Don't you care about that!!?" asked Winterkit as he jumped on Smallkit.

"Of course i care! Now get of me!!" hissed Smallkit.

"KITS! Stop this right now!" yowled Tawnyclaw. The kits automatically stopped. Rosekit ran to her father's side and asked him, "Dad, why dont you seem sad that Darkstar's dead? And when are you gonna get your 9 lives and become Snarlstar??" she asked.

"Here's a secret. I never liked Darkstar. He was to gentle..." whispered Snarclaw. "And i'm heading to the Moonstone right now." continued Snarlclaw as he jumped onto the HighRock.

"All cats old enough to catch there own prey join here beneath the HighRock for a clan meeting!" yowled Snarlclaw. Cats begun to gather slowly.

"Due to Darkstar's death, I will become ShadowClan's leader! I will head to the Moonstone right now. Liontail, you will be in charge of the Clan until i get back." said Snarlclaw as he hopped down the HighRock and headed for the camp entrance. He couldn't wait to become leader...
