"What do you mean I can't come with?" Charles whines, following me down the stairs.

"I mean that Arthur, Lily and I are going on a friend date." I say simply, putting my crossbody bag over my head.

"But I'm a friend!" he throws his hands up.

"You're right. You are a friend. But you are a friend that was mean to Arthur, so now you are a friend that is staying behind."

"Ophy-fille" he whines, grabbing my arm and spinning me around to look at him. "I told Andrea we have to end training early to spend the rest of the day with you."

I put my hand on his cheek. "Go play games with Max, invite Lando around. I'm going out with Arthur and Lily."

He sighs. "Fine. What time will you be back."

"When we're back." Arthur pipes up from the front door.

"Shut up." Charles growls at him.

I kiss Charles. "I'll see you later. I love you."

"I love you too Ophélie, even when you drive me absolutely insane." he whispers, pulling me in for a hug.

I give him another kiss and then I head out the door with Arthur.

Arthur does a fake hair flip. "Bye Felicia."

Charles flips him off and then I poke Arthur in the ribs. "Be nice. He's upset he can't go with."

"And I'm upset that he's taking you away."

I shake my head. "You realize I was his best friend first right? Like, before you were born."

We get in the car and Arthur looks at me. "He can't hold all the titles. Best friend, lover, fiancé, husband, father. Lily and I will share the best friend title."

I laugh and shake my head. "Whatever makes you happy Artie."

We pick Lily up and she sits in the back seat, leaning over between the two front seats talking to us. We drive to the grocery store and fill a basket with goodies for a picnic, and then we drive down to the beach. We find a spot and sit down on a blanket that I always have in my car.

Lily opens the champagne and pours us each a glass. "To us being awesome for time and all eternity."

We cheers and take a sip.

"So Lily, have you heard, this bitch is leaving me all alone." Arthur says, nudging me with his elbow.

"What do you mean?" Lily asks, frowning.

"We bought a house." I smile at her, taking a sip of my champagne.

"You what!? Oh Oph that's amazing! I'm so happy for you guys!" she squeals, pulling me into a hug.

I laugh. "Thanks Lily, at least one of you is happy about it."

Arthur rolls his eyes. "You guys always gang up on me,"

I push him over and kick his butt. "Stop being such a baby. We have to grow up sometime."

Lily sighs. "I don't want to grow up. Adulting is hard." She lays her head down on Arthur's lap. "But then again, kids don't get to marry the hottest F1 driver on the grid, or race in F3, or travel the world, or date their best friend's brother and design clothes that people love."

Arthur runs his hand through her hair. "I guess not. I guess I just always thought that we'd all stick together."

"Jesus, Arthur, they've moving into a new house, they're not moving to another planet." Lily laughs. "But I know what you mean. I miss you all when you're not in Monaco, and then I have to watch the tv to see you guys. Except Miss Oph likes to hide away from the camera."
