WillowWhen I draw a bath and step in, my stiff muscles instantly relax. My mind is reeling. Why was Cassius so nice? He almost made me feel... safe? But just because he was nice one time doesn't mean i'm gonna let my guard down, besides, I still have 5 other vampires to worry about.
The one i'm scared of most is Lucien. Griffin seems nice. Xander and Rafael are a little too much for me but they seem harmless. I think i'll be fine with Cassius as long as I obey him. If i'm on Cassius's good side then the others can't hurt me. It's clear that he's the one in charge around here.
After 30 minutes of being in the bath I reluctantly step out, not wanting to keep them waiting. I wrap myself in a towel and walk down the short hallway that connects to the closet. A gasp escapes me when I see Lucien leaning against a wall, threading a red thong between his fingers.
"Hello, kitten." he purrs, scanning me from head to toe, "You look delectable."
"Ma-master, what are you do-doing here." I say shakily, backing up until i hit the wall.
"I prefer Lucien, kitten. Although there is another name I'd like you to call me, I don't think you're ready yet." Lucien takes slow, calculative steps towards me. Looking like a predator advancing on its prey. I push myself against the wall, willing it to swallow me whole.
"As for why I'm here," Lucien stands mere centimeters from me, wrapping a hand around my throat, he doesn't squeeze but he puts enough pressure for me to be intimidated, "I came to see you of course."
Now that Lucien's this close and wearing a short sleeved shirt, I can actually make out his tattoos. He has two daggers on his hands along with a raven and multiple black rings. On his arms he has a grim reaper, a spider web, a moon and a skeleton hand. His silver cross necklace dangles in my face from him leaning down to stare at me. Luciens whole vibe is just... dark. Everything from his hair, his tattoos, his eyes and the clothes he wears.
He leans his face in my neck and deeply inhales. Tingles travel down my body from the feeling of his hot breath hit my neck. I take a deep breath in, trying to calm down the terror consuming me. Is he going to bite me?
"You smell so sweet kitten."
"Pl-please d-don't" I beg in a pleading whisper, tears cascading down my cheeks.
He removes his face from my neck with a satisfied smirk on his face, "As much as I would love to taste you, I don't want to spoil dinner."
I blow out a relieved breath I didn't realize I was holding. I've never been bitten by a vampire before and I don't ever want to be. I've heard that it's extremely painful but some people say that it's pleasurable. I don't plan on finding out which one is true. Ever.
"I love how you look when you cry. Your eyes are all glassy and doe like. You're lips get swollen and your cheeks are tinted red. Although I would prefer if other body parts were red, this will do for now" Lucien says with fascination, observing my face like its a painting.
He's sick, what the heck is wrong with him? And what other body parts?
Lucien sticks his tongue out and I watch in horror as he licks my tears from my cheeks, not missing a single one.
Whenever he's done, he backs up and motions to the door to my bedroom, "Now go get dressed. You don't want to be late for dinner. I can't wait to see you in the outfit Cassius picked out. Its dainty and innocent, just like you."
I scramble to the door as fast as my feet will take me, opening it and entering my bedroom with Lucien following behind me. I hope he leaves so I can get dressed.
I approach the bed, seeing a white floral dress, a baby pink cardigan and white flats laying out. I turn around to see Lucien leaning against the door frame, looking at me expectantly.
He motions to the clothes, "Well kitten, are you going to get dressed? Cassius isn't a patient man."
I hold the towel tighter around my body, not sure what to do.
"I'll give you 5 seconds before i dress you myself kitten." Lucien says in an irritated tone, much different than the usual amused one.
I blow out a shaky breath before turning my back to him. I unwrap the towel from my body but keep it on my back so he doesn't see my butt. I roll my eyes at the white thong Cassius picked out for me and reluctantly pull it on, cringing at the constant wedgie feeling. I search for a bra but don't find one. Something tells me Cassius did that on purpose, he doesn't seem like he forgets anything. I pick up the dress and pull it on, dropping the towel once I'm fully dressed. The dress stops mid thigh and is tight around the torso and bust but is loose on the legs. I slip on the cardigan and put the flats on with the white socks that have ruffles on the top.
I turn around to see Lucien devouring me with his gaze. His usual dark brown eyes are black and he's licking his lips. He tears his eyes away from my chest and my cheeks heat up at the fact that i'm wearing such a tight dress with no bra. I find relief in the fact that i'm only a b cup so there's not much to show off.
"You look absolutely adorable kitten. Now go sit at the vanity so I can do your hair."
I wearily walk over to the chair and sit in it. I gasp when I face my reflection. My usual pale complexion is dull and even paler, my cheekbones are more defined from weight loss, bags sit under my eyes, my cheeks have tear streaks on them and my eyes are swollen from crying.
I jump when the brush makes contact with my hair.
"You're a scaredy cat." Lucien chuckles, continuing to get the tangles out of my hair. He's surprisingly gentle, I thought he would jump at the chance to rip out my hair.
I look down at my lap and pick at the skin on my nails but im interrupted when Lucien smacks my hand away, "Don't do that." He scolds, giving my hair a tug. I hiss at the burning sensation.
"Sorry." I mumble. I look up and catch sight of a tattoo peeking from the collar of his black shirt, I can't tell what it is though. "I thought vampires couldn't get tattoos. Don't they heal immediately when injured?" I ask, uncomfortable with the tense silence.
He makes eye contact with me in the mirror, "There's a special type of ink for vampires."
I hum in response
"Hmm, should I keep your hair down or put it up?" Lucien contemplates to himself with a hand on his chin, "I'll put it up, I love when I get to see your neck." He opens a drawer and gets out two hair ties then ties my hair into two high pigtails. Lucien rests his chin on my head and wraps his hands around my torso, breathing out a content sigh. I feel myself relax in his embrace. "I could just eat you up, you look too adorable."
My eyes widen and my muscles instantly stiffen back up. Lucien chuckles, "I wasn't being literal, relax kitten." He buries his face in my neck, inhaling deeply. "A vampire bite can be extremely pleasurable, if the vampire chooses to make it so. Have you ever been bitten before Willow?"
Tinges run down my spine at the feeling of his words against my neck and his husky voice, "N-no."
I can feel his satisfied smile against my skin, "I look forward to being your first." He backs away from me and I instantly feel cold and empty, "I could sit here and hold you all day but we better head to dinner before Cassius throws a fit."
I take the hand Lucien holds out for me and let him guide me to dinner. The whole way there I wonder if Lucien was telling the truth about a bite being pleasurable.
