The sun shone through the windows of the large hall that was intended for fencing lessons. The individual pairs had all long been in position and their epees struck quickly and precisely. From time to time the steel flashed the sun and the glare, but this was beside the point.

What was most important for everyone was winning. The annual fencing tournament was coming up in a few weeks and everyone wanted to be in the top ten for the inter-school tournament. Not to forget that the use of one's strength was allowed. One should show the best of his whole side. Among them were Wednesday, Bianca and Rowan's girlfriend, who watched the spectacle from the bench.

He watched carefully as his girlfriend held her own against Xavier. But it was obvious who took the sport more seriously and who did not. Xavier had already taken two hits and one more would mean the end for him. But she also knew that Xavier didn't take the lessons as seriously as she or Bianca.

Which is why, after ducking under his rapier, the last hit came. ,,Xavier, you lost!" the teacher shouted audibly and the painter shook her hand in fairness.
,,Well done," he praised, before relievedly retreating to the bench next to Rowan, his roommate. ,,She's good," he said, and Rowan nodded in agreement. ,,Yes, she is my pretty sun," he said proudly and Xavier shook his head slightly. ,,Sir, I need a new partner!" she exclaimed and looked around.

Either most of them had already dropped out or were still fighting. ,,Ghost I'll fight with you" she heard Bianca say and saw that the siren had finished her fight faster than she thought. ,,All right, you two, this is going to be a battle of power, I want to see something!" exclaimed her teacher and the two faced each other. ,,Without helmet, without restraint-", ,,and without fear", the girl with invisible powers finished the siren's sentence before attacking.

It was a quick thrust towards the black-haired girl's leg. Bianca fought back but her opponent simply disappeared. With her abilities,
she was able to make even her clothes and the sword invisible. ,,I'll beat you anyway, little ghost," she exclaimed, seeming to pay close attention to the mat beneath her. But Bianca had not reckoned from behind.

The sword darted invisibly, quickly and precisely to her neck and a small cut was visible. Before her opponent made herself visible again. ,,Not bad," said the siren. But when the invisible one saw the blue shimmering blood, she knew that Bianca was far from finished. She knew that if she used her siren song even once, she would be sure of a hit.

This time, Bianca set up to strike and tried to hit her on the arm. She bent over again and was about to come up and retreat invisibly when the mirrors behind her cracked and broke. She was foolish to move around but the words turn around bit into her head. What had happened?

Only when she felt the pain on her cheek did she come to. Bianca had destroyed the mirrors with her voice and directed her singing directly to her classmate. ,,Not bad," Y/n commented and the two got back into position. ,,Are you okay?" she heard Rowan call out, seeing the small cut on her cheek.

Giggles went through some of the students but she knew he was serious. ,,Don't worry, your dear spirit will be fine," Bianca assured them, and a little laughter was heard. ,,You too," said Y/n, annoyed at the sting, and as soon as she said it, she let herself become invisible again. She knew that Bianca was the best fencer besides Wednesday and herself.

Even if she didn't win, the team couldn't do without her. Just because of her skills.
And yet she wanted to win. She deflected the blows with Bianca's rapier, who seemed to have an idea of where her opponent was. Y/n dodged to the side, still holding onto the mat, but knowing that the blow would hit them both. Bianca tapped her shoulder and drove around.

She lunged and aimed for the chest. But she had judged Bianca exactly right. The two blades crunched past each other and both took a hit to the chest.
Making themselves visible, they both looked at each other full of ambition. ,,Whoever wins gets an extra note and a notation on the report card," the teacher's voice rang out, and murmurs and murmurs rang through the class. ,,Let's finish it," she heard Bianca say and she nodded in agreement. She saw the fighting courage in the siren's eyes.

Bianca lunged and Y/n dodged only to catch Bianca herself. But she remembered that in the fight against Wednesday, Bianca herself had defeated the Addams.
The swords clashed again but the power behind Bianca was incredible. ,,Where does she get this power?" she asked herself and saw the small smile on the siren's lips. Bianca lunged again and Y/n struggled not to give in.

The two rapiers scraped past each other and as Y/n backed away, she saw Bianca's rapier touch at the last moment. But it was too late, the sword was knocked out of her hand and fell to the ground, clattering. She saw how Bianca rolled out and aimed at her face again.

But the pain was not there, instead another sword fell to the ground before Bianca shouted, ,,Put me down now!". Astonished, she looked at Bianca who was hovering in the air. ,,That's enough, Bianca," she heard Rowan say, holding out his hand to keep the siren away from his girlfriend.
,,Rowan put her down, she won, I'm fine" said Y/n and walked over to her friend. ,,It's just a little cut," she assured him, putting a hand on his shoulder. Uncertainly he put Bianca down who gave him an angry look.
,,Mr. Laslow, you will take her to the infirmary immediately and then come to me for detention," the teacher's loud voice broke through the murmur. ,,Come on, let's go," she said, seeing the angry look behind his glasses. Practically dragging her boyfriend behind her, she went with him to the infirmary.

But after convincing the nurse that she was fine and could treat herself, the two remained alone.
Rowan sat down on the rolling chair in front of his girlfriend who was sitting on the edge of the bed. ,,Why did you do that?" she asked as she took a small piece of cotton from Rowan and soaked it in alcohol. ,,Well, I-I was afraid she was going to hurt you further...I was afraid for you," he admitted, placing the wadding on her cuts.

She hissed, but when she felt Rowan's hands on her, she saw that he was using his powers to fix her up. ,,I'm sorry," he said quietly, reaching into his pocket to retrieve his inhaler and activate it. ,,It's okay, I understand why you did it...besides, it was cool" she admitted and a smile appeared on her lips. ,,Really?" Rowan asked and she took his hands in hers. ,,Yeah, I mean who can say you have a brave boyfriend with telekinesis?

She said and saw the blush on his cheeks from the praise. ,,I-I love you," she heard him murmur before he kissed her gently. He gently pulled her closer to him. His fingers ran over her side making her smile and kissed her again full of love.
Only when she opened her eyes did she see that Rowan was floating in the air with her through his telekinesis. Rowan also laughed before she put a hand on his cheek. ,,I love you," she said again before they continued to float through the room kissing.
