002, "Unsuccessful Escape."

- Readers POV -

Garam flutters her eyes open, sitting up slowly, as she is awoken by a tall figure standing before her and the sound of water droplets hitting the ground. "Human, you're awake." Garam looks up to meet a pair of red solemn eyes that glistened despite the darkness. The being's voice was low, and it appeared to be a girl.

A light turned on as the sound of someone snapping their fingers echoed. A pale white-skinned girl with deep red eyes, black hair that reaches over her shoulders, and sharp fangs looks down at her. Garam stood up as her eyes widened. She gulps as she makes eye contact with the girl in front of her before turning around and running away.

Her attempt to escape was unsuccessful, and the girl quickly grabbed her arm, dragging her back to where she had previously stood. Eunchae smirked before gripping Garam's collar and pulling her in closer. She stares at her face. Their faces were only a few inches apart. Garam trembles and shivers in fear as she notices Eunchae's fangs, which appear much more dangerous up close.

Lowering herself and approaching the mortal's neck, she takes one last whiff of her neck before letting go. Eunchae watches how Garam gets on her knees, kneeling down in front of her a bit teary eyed and hands shaking,

"Please don't k-kill me...! I'll do anything. I'm only 18 years old and I have a lot of dreams for myself. Please, spare me...!" Garam clasps her hands together and closes her eyes tightly. "Silly, I don't kill humans. I just drink their blood." Eunchae grabs her wrist, forcing her to stand, and then pins her to the wall with one hand.

"But you can do me a little favor..." she says softly before licking her lips and biting Garam's neck.

"Please.. S-stop it h-hurts.." Garam cries out as she starts feeling weak in the knees. Eunchae felt bad but sucked harder because, despite nearly draining the poor girl earlier, she was still hungry. Garam let out a surprised yelp as she felt the pain worsen and she was helpless she couldn't do anything about it.

She had no choice but to stand there and watch as this vampire drank her blood. Garam is terrified. She was terrified for her life. She knew she didn't stand a chance. Her lips were trembling. Eunchae lifts her head and Garam just watches, watches every single movement she makes.

A crimson liquid running down the side of her mouth and her mouth smudged with blood, Eunchae stares seriously at the human. Garam watches as her own blood, her own blood is being licked off by a vampire. Wiping her mouth Eunchae smiles eyes squinting slightly.

"So, where do you live?"

Instead of answering Garam pants a little, clutching her chest biting her bottom lip before she took some steps back and blinked. Eunchae sighs shaking her head and glances down at the ground for a second before looking up at the mortal, "You humans are no fun." She states hands in her pockets.  Garam's still scared, she's scared to speak and even scared to leave.

"Okay. Let me ask you again. Where do you live? You see, I'm just trying to help you and you're making this hard by not answering my questi- Wait..! Woah! Are you crying!?"

Eunchae steps closer towards her and tilts her head to the side. Garam places her hands onto Eunchae's shoulders and tries pushing her away but Eunchae just doesn't move.. Not even a bit.

"I'm.. I'm not crying. Back off..-"Garam attempts to push the vampire away again but is unsuccessful. Eunchae moves closer to Garam's face literally invading her privacy. Garam whines muttering, "Back off.. Please not again.. I'm begging you."

"Alright!"

Eunchae grins backing off. "I'm still taking you home though! It's dangerous to walk out in the middle of the night, the other vampires aren't as friendly as i am. And they do kill humans." She states seriously. Garam shivers at the thought. "Anyway..! You're coming with me..!" Effortlessly carrying her like a sack of flour and starting to walk, Eunchae stops for a second.

"Or do you want a piggyback ride?" She looked at the girl in her right arm. Garam just nods. Eunchae puts her down and lowers herself slightly. But when she doesn't feel the girls weight on her, she looks back. "Hop on!" Garam does as the younger says. She's scared. She's scared and she feels her heart hammering against her rib cage. But she tries hard to calm her nerves and her pounding heart.

But somehow, she feels some kind of comfort while being carried away by this vampire. The fear starts fading.. just a little bit. But the extreme pain she felt in both her neck and her entire body, didn't go away. "So, what's your name bud?" Eunchae asks her. "Garam.. Kim Garam." The older girl responds feeling some type of awkwardness.

"Oh cool! My name's Hong Eunchae." Eunchae grins. "So you'll leave me alone after this..? Right..?" Garam asks hoping for a positive answer or just a 'yes'.

"Ha ha ha! No! Of course not! Your blood tastes so good! It tastes like that mortal food.. What was it called again? Cheesecake? No..! What was it..?? Cheroots..? Chersies..? It was something like... Cher.." Eunchae pondered.

"You mean cherries?" Garam blinks confused. "Ah yes! Chersies." The younger nods in agreement not having a clue. "Cherries, not chersies." Garam corrects. "Che.. Chersies.. Cherries?" Eunchae mutters.
