Nick was a chubby boy who was always a target for bullies. He has several scars to mark places he's been beaten. What he doesn't know is that the popular guy Stephan has a secret crush on him. One day it was as boring as usual he was expecting the bullies to come at him but he'd had enough. He beat them mercilessly seriously injuring them that he had to be detentioned for a month but ever since then the school has now feared him making Stephan fall in love even deeper
Stephan had gone camping with his friends on the weekend. One particular person crept him out. He looked scary and at night witnessed something that changed his life forever. He was walking quietly in the woods and then met the scary looking guy. He had a gun and shot himself on the head with Stephan screaming. His friends rushed at the horrible sight calling the police and packing up immediately. Ever since then when he hears something being banged hard it reminds him of the event
Today they had a football tournament with their neighbouring high school. This time he was targeting to get Nick's attention. It got so hot to the point they were forced to take off their shirts. Nick's friends josh and Kim saw that move coming. They'd tried telling him that he has a crush but he wouldn't believe them. Stephan kept stealing glances from Nick and when they locked eyes Stephan felt his heart beat fast. It gave him more energy making them score 3_0 with their school winning.
The players went to change and Kim and josh saw him staring at a picture of nick. They kept teasing nick on the way home. Nick was off shopping for dinner and came across Stephan at the ice skating rink taking practices. He watched in awe as he gracefully danced in the ice and Stephan was shocked seeing nick staring at him making him fall and hurt his ankle. He tried standing up but it was too painful maybe because he had a frostbite. He helped him take his skates off as he gently put him on his back. He blushed a lot as Stephan playfully played with his hair sniffing it because it smelled so good
Nick : does it hurt too much
Stephan : yes it does. I want to go home
Nick : I won't hurt you. Are you sure it doesn't hurt. You keep wincing a lot
Stephan : I'm fine Nick. Seriously
They got to his home where his brother James had to treat the wound. The entire time he just kept thinking about nick. They had likely borrowed numbers and Stephan was bored so he decided to call nick
Nick : how's your foot ? Getting any better ?
Stephan : a little. Are you busy this weekend ?
Nick : no why ?
Stephan : ,I was wondering if we could go out sometime
Nick : ,of course. When can I pick you up ?
Stephan : at 7pm
Nick : cool see you
After the call, nick couldn't believe that Stephan asked him out. He bragged it to his best friend josh and Kim. The two were dating and were the popular couple. What people didn't know was that nick was secretly rich and Stephan was a popular model unlike others he managed to fight the celebrity disease. Ever since the gun incident, Stephan started walking everywhere with bodyguards but on his dates with nick they'd give them all the space they desired. Nick was so sweet and asked to keep the secret of nick being rich a secret from everyone. They had a good time. They were busy watching stars when nick asked why Stephan of all people liked him. He said that its because he has a nice and kind heart like he does. Before he dropped Stephan off , he grabbed him and they had their very first kiss. James smiled at the sight where Stephan Started playing with nick who carried him straight to the front door. He knocked it and James opened the door with Stephan running inside. James thanked nick for making Stephan happy especially after his recent breakup with Nolan. He continued staring at the beautiful Stephan who was getting ready for bed. He closed the blinds but not before sticking out his tongue at nick.
The next morning, nick noticed something bothering Stephan because he'd been crying and his eyes were all red and puffy and aching. He told nick that his dad wants him to find a perfect partner who'll take care of him properly. Nick comforted him by taking him out probably for the last time.
The first date turned out to be a huge rock star that he liked so much. He was like a masterpiece. He had a kind heart and they kissed on their first date and this one made butterflies turn in Stephan's stomach. He was being used for the family business and overtime his feelings for Stephan grew. Stephan felt as if he was betraying nick because he usually came over to his house if he had a bad dream , would make sure he is ok before Heading home himself, constantly checking his health status , spoiling him on all their dates and protecting him from bullies and dangerous people. Andrew's feeling increase and Stephan doesn't want to hurt either of them. Things however don't sit well when words go out that Stephan was dating Andrew and began laughing at nick because they thought that maybe Stephan hated him because he was chubby. Stephan was a mess when he heard that nick moved into another city. He starved himself almost finishing. He withdrew from everyone and James began to worry , he avoided school and his friends were worried at his health getting dangerously bad. They wanted to make things better again so when he was out clearing his head, they sent messages of apology to nick asking him to come save Stephan because he was like close to dying. When Stephan stepped out of the woods. He jumps into Nick's arms and cries there
