I held my breath as I entered the fields where the stalls stood. Unfortunately our kissing booth was at the far end side, which meant a lot of walking.

On the way to our booth many stared, some pointed, while the rest just stood there whispering amongst themselves.

Did I really look that bad? Did I look like a clown in this dress like how Lana had said I would? This was a bad idea to begin with and I shouldn't have agreed to it.

"I know what's running through that little head of yours but hey you're doing great. They're just shocked to see this version of yours. No need to overthink it, Bee. You look stunning." Sam reassured me which made me visibly relax a little.

She was such a sweet girl. How could such an angel like her and a devil like Regi exist on the same planet?!

"Hey pumpkin~" Ugh! Speak of the devil! And just when I was starting to forget about our little incident too...

There stood the devil in all her glory with my sister's hand draped around her shoulder, reminding me of our previous encounter with one of her signature smirks.

Oh how I wish to wipe that stupid smirk of hers from that idiotically gorgeous face.

"Lyn, your little sister is looking so fucking hot in that dress. But you know what'd be more hot? Ripping that dress and stripping her down. Ooh my pussy's already wet thinking about it~ "

I know my sister's all chummy chummy with Regina, but how could she tolerate her vulgar language? And that too about her own sister? My heart ran a mile a second and my breathing turned irregular. All the while Regi just smirked at how flustered I was getting.

This bitc- No I'm a good girl and therefore ought to refrain myself from using such ungodly words unlike certain people who reign in hell. Hmph!

And why was everyone talking about stripping me down? I still couldn't wrap my head around the fact that she had said that out loud. How much more shameless could she get? My cheeks heated from anger. Yep, anger and nothing else.

"You are right Regi, she IS looking hot, she's my little sister afterall. But tone your fucking voice down! The kids are all around the ground. Stop embarassing her! Remind me again why I'm still best friends with you, you little horny ass bitch!"

To be honest I didn't expect anything better from her. My sister had always taken Regi's side no matter what.

She knew Regi was a troublemaker yet she still kept the friendship going. It's so true that birds of a feather flock together.

Like Sam and I, good girls tend to attract good girls. That's the theory of- of- well that's THE theory.

"Hahaha that's 'cause you love me a little too much, bitch." They were like two peas of a pod. Inseparable.

"And who might this be? She's been staring daggers at us for quite some time." My sister's questioning look had me puzzled as I had forgotten for a minute that I had not walked up to the fields alone.

I turned around and found Sam. I smiled shyly. I felt guilty for ignoring her, even if it was just for a minute.

I bit my lip and quickly apologized before making the short introductions. "Oh I'm really sorry I forgot to introduce you guys. Brook, this is Samantha, our class rep and the student council president. Sam, this is Brooklyn, my second eldest sister. And this is... this is Regina, my sister's best friend." I concluded timidly not being able to meet the devil's eyes.

Sam shook hands with Brook and offered her a sweet smile. But I cannot say the same for Regi.

I'm sure one could feel the tension between them from miles away. A slow frown started to form on Regi's face.

I had never seen a frown replace the goofy grin that she wore wherever she went, so seeing her frown made me frown a little too. I know that sounded crazy and believe me it sure was but...

"Oooh~ So YOU'RE the infamous Sam! Abby has told me a lot about you. You know, Abby rarely talks about anyone from her class. In fact I was sooo surprised when she started to- " Ugh! Couldn't she just keep her mouth shut for a few seconds?!

I flushed hard as I looked around avoiding Sam's gaze. "Brooklyn!" I warned my sister who was busy ranting about the things I've told her thinking that she would keep it to herself. Who was I kidding?

I never used my sister's full name unless and until I was really angry or embarrassed. So yeah I guess my sister was a little surprised at me calling her full name.

Her jaw dropped and it stayed like that for a whole damn minute before she closed it dramatically with both her hands. She was such a drama queen, I swear. My eyes darted around for a while before it finally caught onto Regi's.

The frown that had shadowed her face had somehow deepened and she looked really pissed. When I tried to avert my gaze it landed back on Sam. She looked happy and proud. And though I didn't know the reason behind her sudden burst of happiness, I was secretly happy too. Atleast she was not disappointed in me anymore. I felt somewhat relieved.

Was I the only one who was sweating around here? The atmosphere was tensed and I felt it difficult to just breathe and exist.

"So~ We'll just quickly go and have a look around other stalls. We had come here as soon as we had arrived, so yeah... That's it. Bye and good luck kiddo. You're gonna be a great Siren."

Guess I was not the only one uncomfortable. Brook's idea of breaking the ice was incredible, but there seemed to be a teeny tiny problem...

That teeny tiny problem was that when Brook tugged on Regi's arms to pull her away from our booth she was unwilling to budge.

After a few more rounds of staring match with Sam, she finally decided to get pulled away by Brook, but not before shooting one last glare towards prez who decided to give one back with the equal amount of damaging force. Their eyes were murderous.

So much for a peaceful day.
