*DAVE'S POV*
"Are you really done with that hoe this time? Cause you always be saying that shit, and then you go straight back."Bashar voiced his frustration with me as we were taking a walk down the block to get some fresh air and smoke.
I definitely am. After last night? I can't deal with it anymore. There has to be a line. And she definitely crossed it.
"Hell yeah. It's been a long six years, I can't be doing this on and off shit. She be doing too damn much."
"That's what Shooter and I been telling you. You need someone who is actually about shit. Not someone who is just your yes man and have no life of her own because she lives off of mommy and daddy's money."
Just at that second, we so happened to take a stop from walking. We ended up stopping at a hair salon called Lauryn's Beauty.
The window read;
Independently owned shop.
We do hair, manicures, pedicures, and eyebrows!
Then looking straight into the window, I seen that it was Lauryn and a few of her friends doing people's hair.
Damn. Shorty really got her own.
Am I really missing out on something good for Symphony?
"What chu looking out so hard over there, nigga? You good?"
"That's crazy. I didn't know that she owned a shop.."
"Who?"
"Lauryn! Can't you see the fucking name of the salon, dummy?"
"Lauryn? As in.. big girl Lauryn from school?"
"You don't gotta be so mean with it, grow up. But yes, her."
"I coulda told you that shit. My girl Mariah works here. Since when did you start showing your interest in her?"
"Not everything has to be about showing interest. I just think it's dope that she has shit of her own. Besides, she was up at the party last night, too. I guess she messing around with Symphony's brother Clarence."
"I can't stand that nigga Clarence. He always got an attitude for no damn reason."
"Exactly."
"Are you niggas lost, are you gonna come in to get your hair done?"
One of the girls from inside poked her head out of the door, noticing that Bashar and I were just standing in front of their salon.
Another one suddenly popped her head out.
"Mo, leave my man alone! Hey, baby! Where you headed too?"
"Nowhere much, Riah. My boy Dave and I were just on a walk. We needed some air and wanted to smoke a little bit."
"I'm going on my lunch break in like ten minutes. Wanna wait for me out here so we can go grab something to eat."
