*LAURYN'S POV*
"These pancakes are actually very good! I never tried banana pancakes before. These are the bomb!"I exclaimed as I was sitting at Katorah's kitchen table with her, eating the breakfast that she made us. I wanted to stay for the free breakfast. Duh!
"Thank you, I appreciate that. Don't you gotta get going? You told me you start work in like a half an hour."
"Oh, shit! Yeah, I do. Thank you again, for everything. We have each other's numbers, we'll keep in touch."
"Definitely. Don't go stressing ya nigga too much either. You too beautiful for that."
Katorah gave me a wink as I walked out of the door, getting into the taxi and making my way to work.

-Once I got to work, of course Mr. Brewster himself was parked in front. As soon as he seen me get out of the taxi, Dave got out of his car quickly holding a bouquet of flowers.
"Baby, where the hell you been at? Do you know how many times I been calling and texting your ass?"
"Oh, I'm well fucking aware, David. I seen every single time, too. Leave me alone."
"This is what you do? You get mad at me, go hang around with studs in the club, and go home with them?"
Dave stood in front of me, blocking me from getting inside of the salon and still holding the flowers in one hand. I looked at him with a death glare.
"How the fuck did you know where I was at and who I was with? Are you fucking stalking me?"
"I wasn't stalking you, your little ex fling Clarence ran into me and told me. But even if I was stalking you, I have a right. I'm your man, and I deserve to know where you're at."
"Fuck off! I have every single right to be mad at you! You think this shit is okay?!"
"I ain't say it was okay, I KNOW it ain't okay! That's why I'm tryna apologize to you!"
"It's gonna take a little bit more than blowing up my phone, showing up at my house unannounced to talk to my sister at four in the morning, and bringing me flowers. Which by the way, don't be showing up to my house at that time of night when I ain't there."
"So you really ain't gon take these flowers? Do you know how much these cost?!"
"Nigga, does it look like I give a fuck?! That's on you, I didn't ask for flowers! Now move, I have to get into work!"
"Can I at least know who you were with?"
"Why, so you can go and terrorize them?! No! It's none of your business! All you need to know is that I didn't fuck her. Now MOVE!"
At that moment, I pushed Dave out of my way with all my might, rushing into my salon and leaving him outside with the flowers.
"Girl, PLEASE forgive him! This nigga been following us all trying to see where you was at!"
Tiffany said as I made my way over to them.
This nigga really gotta be kidding me right now...
"I'm not gonna forgive him that easily for something like THIS! He's going to learn that I ain't the bitch to play with."

*DAVE'S POV*
I had to think of something more than just flowers and phone calls. After leaving Lauryn's salon, I rushed back over to her house where Candice was. I practically begged her to let me decorate the entire house romantically just to try to make an effort for Lauryn to forgive me.
After about ten minutes of begging, Candice finally gave in she said she would stay at one of her friend's house for the night.
With that being said, I had to make this entire house over before she came home, cook her the best meal that I could, and let my girl know that I'm extremely sorry and that this won't happen ever again.
