It was a nice day, the sun was shining down on my back and I was watching over 4 kits with Bigwig sitting beside me.
And those 4 little kits were ours. There were 3 does and 1 buck. I named 2 and Bigwig named 2. The buck looked liked me but had Bigwig's eyes. I named him after my father, Prometheus. One of the does looked just like Bigwig, her name was Zaira, and the last two were a mix of me and Bigwig combined, their names were Storm and Luna.
They all ran up to us. Their coat was covered in dirt, and in their mouths they all had.. Worms? "Look at the state of you all! What are you doing with all those-" He realized and got up, he looked at me "Mm, yes. Worms." He said, I giggled as he looked over at Kehaar.
"Listen, it was a long flight here. I have a worm problem, okay? It's not my fault!" he said in protest as the kits went up to him and gave him the worms.
"If our kits end up only being able to dig up worms, I will rip that bird to pieces myself." I said loud enough for Kehaar to hear. Bigwig looked a little concerned, he then shook his head and a smile appeared on his face.
"I'll make sure they don't, you don't have be worried about your friend." I assured.
"If he calls me 'plump rabbit' again I think I wouldn't mind him being gone." He joked.
"I'll ask Frith if he could do us that favor." We just kept a close eye on them.. Well, I kept a close eye on them. I didn't trust Kehaar that much to not pay attention when he was with my kits.

The rest of the day was calm and peaceful. We didn't have Efrafans hunting us down every minute of every day. Right now, me, Bigwig, and our kits were together in our den. The kits were sleeping peacefully at my side, me and Bigwig were laying beside each other in a comfortable silence.
I laid my head down ready to sleep. "So much has happened to us." Bigwig nodded in agreement. "I'm just glad to be here with you and our kits."
"Me too." He said softly laying his head down.
"I love you, Bigwig." I spoke.
"I love you too, Keres" He said, I then drifted of into sleep.
