"Hannah! Come downstairs, I ordered pizza! I already set the table up!" My mom called. I miss when I got to eat my dads food before the divorce. He made the best food ever, but now I have to eat instant meals and takeout. "So, how was your day?" my mom asked.
"oh. it was okay." I answered.
"Well my day was great! Look at all this cash i got from the karaoke bar, people really like me!" she said energetically. She doesnt have a job and we practically live off the money people give her when shes drunk at a karaoke bar and the money my dad sends us. I like our new house though, its cozy. its really dated but something about it seemed really nice and antique. the only thing I didnt like about it is the smell. it must be some old dust collected in a heater or something stuck in the old rug. It was definitely cheap, though Im not sure how much it costed.

I walked up the carpeted stairs into my room. I hadn't customized it yet, -and the wall was attired with old stained wallpaper. it was really tawdry, but it was also ornate and vivid. the floral rug beneath my feet was soft and cusiony, though it looked dingy and dirty.I opened my textbook and started reading. "the powerhouse of the cell is mitochondria, but without the other organelles, it couldnt power them as needed" I read from the dusty book. I sighed, this was probably the most boring thing I had ever read.  "without transportation from the endoplasmic reticulum, the mitochondria wouldnt be able to produce energy for the other cells" I sighed as I read it. The room was pretty bare, just a bed and a dresser. the only book I had was on cell theory, and it came with the house.
