Aotung's Pov

My day was weirdly great, I got along surprisingly okay with Neteyam. I got to develop a weird bond with him, It's not like it matters though. He belongs nowhere near here and his whole freak family. Neteyam was passionate and wouldn't give up. He wouldn't just let me make fun of him, it's a trait I like about him. 𝘚𝘰𝘮𝘦𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘐 𝘭𝘪𝘬𝘦 𝘢𝘣𝘰𝘶𝘵 𝘕𝘦𝘵𝘦𝘺𝘢𝘮? 𝘐'𝘷𝘦 𝘨𝘰𝘯𝘦 𝘮𝘢𝘥, 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘳𝘦𝘴 𝘯𝘰𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘨𝘰𝘰𝘥 𝘢𝘣𝘰𝘶𝘵 𝘩𝘪𝘮! My brain was just messed up from a long day, I'll get my thoughts together in the morning.

I woke up to my sister aggressively shaking him, impatient and slightly annoyed.
"Everyone is going to ride Ilu's, don't be late" Tsireya spoke.
I was just lying there for a few seconds, trying to process what my sister had just told me. As soon as I remembered I quickly sat up and got ready. I tried my best to be on time but, when I got there I could see everyone riding off in the distance. I called my Ilu, hoping I could still catch up. When I did, I greeted Roxto and rode my Ilu along with his.
"How've you been? Haven't seen you in ages." He teased me.
"It's been a day or two, If you missed me just admit it." I was chuckling soon after the response I gave him, but I soon lost interest and focused on a new subject.
"Hey, forest boy!" I called, locking eyes with the male that turned his head as I yelled those words.
"What do you want?" He looked at me with droopy eyes, yawning a few times as he talked.
"Wow, am I that uninteresting? Yawning at me?" I teased him. Softly pushing his back a little.
"Yeah, you're a pretty generic asshole." He crossed his arms and tried not to close his eyes.
"I can see you're not a morning person" I was just pointing out the obvious, Neteyam was half asleep while I was talking to him.
"How'd you find that one-out detective dickhead?" A rather annoyed expression came across his face.
I took that as my cue to leave him alone, if I pissed that freak off some more it wouldn't go well.
"Bye-bye, tree boy." I grinned at him as I directed my Ilu in another direction. I didn't have to look back to see that he was smiling at the rather flirtatious goodbye I gave him.

Light gave in quickly and soon it was time for all of us to head back to our pods. I headed back with Rotxo but I couldn't hold my eyes from wandering to a specific boy. I was going to go up to him but I decided not to at the last second. I can't be wasting my time on assholes like him, it would only hold me back. Neteyam and his family needed to know that they were never welcome here and never will be.

|| I'm asking myself why they haven't made out already. Their tension is amazing and Aonung rizzing up Neteyam is perfect. ||
