"Fucking hell, why did you have to show up?" Aonung had a worried look in his eyes. Fear overcame him as scenarios popped into his head.
"What the fuck are you doing with my brother?" Lo'ak hissed. He pushed Aonung off me and stared him in the eyes.
"Lo'ak, calm down. He's nice to me." I attempted to pull Lo'ak off Aonung but that wasn't working, rage overcame Lo'ak. There was no way to stop him.
"Get the fuck off me." Aonung backed away from Lo'ak withdrawing from a future argument.
"Do you like him or some shit, bro?" Lo'ak looked at me, disappointment in his eyes. Aonung and Lo'ak were enemies, I knew that if he found out about us he would flip out.
"Yeah, I like him. I like it a lot." My expression softened, smiling at Aonung. His lips formed a smile back at me.
"Don't mess this up, you don't deserve him." Lo'ak crossed his arms, his facial features beginning to form a calmer look.
"Yeah, I don't plan on messing up." Aonung pulled me aside, waiting for Lo'ak to leave.
"Piss off for once." He narrowed his eyes at Lo'ak, slowly turned around, and left. I felt like shattering into pieces. Kiri had already known but Lo'ak couldn't keep a secret to save his life. I rested my head on Aonung's shoulder, on the verge of tears.
"What if he tells someone? What if rumors spread?" He had a scared tone in his voice.
"He wouldn't do that to us, even if he did. We still have each other, nothing will change that." I gave Aonung a small peck on the lips, giving him a reassuring smile of comfort.
"Yeah, you're right." He grabbed hold of my waist, both of us swaying in the wind for a while. Letting the breeze carry our actions.
We soon drifted apart, walking our separate ways into our pods. Lo'ak wouldn't do something like that right? He's my brother, he couldn't do that to me. Fear pierced through my brain, the thought of people whispering about me and Aonung made my heart beat faster. I just wanted him to tell to me that everything was going to be okay. I snuck into my room and avoided contact with everyone. I wanted to collapse on my bed and forget this day ever happened.

                                     ***
Today I woke up on the wrong side of the bed, everything was pissing me off. I kept snapping at people for the littlest things and the only thing that could calm me down was Aonung's deep words.
"Is something up, Neteyam? You seem a little off today.." My father placed a hand on my shoulder and looked at me with concern and sympathy.
"Yeah, I'm fine. I just didn't eat anything today." I had eaten breakfast but it was the most believable lie I could come up with on the spot. I fidgeted with my hands, trying to not gain eye contact with my dad.
"Oh, alright," My dad looked sort of sad. "Want to go get a bite to eat then?"

"Nah, I'll eat in a little bit. Don't worry." I assured him, I would probably see if Aonung was free to grab lunch. I couldn't wait any longer to see him. I'm starting to get clinging, I'm a fucking idiot. I couldn't stop myself from falling in love with that infamous jerk.
