I had been stupid enough to agree to go hunting with Aonung. Tonowari asked me to and I couldn't just decline him. That would've been even stupider. I just didn't know that it would be just me and him. Nothing should be different, but it was. I could feel the tension between us.
"Why of all people, did your dad ask me to come with you?" I sighed looking at the male riding his Ilu beside me.
"I don't know, I'm not him. But you can't hate my company that much, tree boy." He's right, I didn't hate it. I hated the thought of him and the way he acted towards others. But when I'm with him, I feel warm and light inside.
"You're just not the person I wanna be around right now." I rolled my eyes at him. I told him that but it was a complete lie, I never wanted to leave his side.
"How rude, you just can't admit that you love the attention." He smirked at me and laughed.
God, I hate him. But I can't escape the fact that I want to explore his body.
"You can stop staring now." He chuckled at me. I didn't realize I was just staring at his body. I turned to the side so he couldn't see the embarrassment on face. There's no way I'm letting him win, I'm not going to let him fluster me like that.
"It's so narcissistic to think I was looking at you." I rolled my eyes, trying to think of a good reason to get out of this.
I pointed to a large fish, signaling for him to use his fish spear. I just sat on my Ilu, there was nothing better to do. It was extremely boring having to just sit around all day with this pain in the ass.
"We should head back, I have to be home by eclipse." He turned his Ilu around and started back home.
"Since when did you ever listen to curfews?" I asked. It didn't seem like Aonung cared about what his parents said to him. I'm surprised they even bother to give him a curfew.
"Why do you think that? Or do you just not want me to leave?" He smirked at me, narrowing his eyes.
I was at a loss for words, the eye contact was so intense I couldn't think of anything to say.
"It's not that I-" I didn't even get to finish my sentence before Aonung interrupted me. He pressed a finger to my lip. I couldn't help it, I know it wasn't the right thing to do either but at that moment he was just so hot. It's not that I like him, he's a total dickhead. I just couldn't hold back. The kiss was rough and both of us wouldn't let the other take control. His fingers ventured my body till he placed his hands on my ass. The kiss got messy till his tongue started making its way into my mouth. I kept gasping for air. God, everything about him was hot but I couldn't bring myself to do anything more. Especially because we were in the middle of the sea.
"It's starting to become an eclipse." I couldn't barely make out those words as Aonung started grinding his hips into me.
"Aonung." I let out a low groan, this felt amazing but I couldn't do this. All of sudden, he stopped moving.
"Yeah, you're right. I got carried away, sorry." He looked down to the sea. Riding his Ilu into the distance.
"Aonung, wait!" I called, I wanted him so badly but I couldn't do it. Just like that, I let him get away. I felt like a part of me just left, leaving the other half in the dust. Why do I even care? It's not like I have feelings for him, we were just at the same place at the same time. That was what I was forcing myself to believe, what I wanted to be true. When I saw those shimmering cerulean optics I knew that he was the one. I couldn't let myself think that way because of how he treated my family.
