Pov: Inosuke

Me and Monitsu were talking about how weird Kanjiro has been acting around him lately. I honestly thought it was just me, but even this idiot sees it! "So, have you also seen it to, Inosuke?" He said, quietly as if we couldn't speak. "Well, duh. He's an open book for the poor! So of course I'd see it!" "Ah." He said. Nothing else. That's when I heard it. The door. It was Kanjiro.

"Ah, I see I'm interrupting. Just wanted to say foods ready. Hurry before it gets cold."

Pov: Zenitsu

I can't believe this idiot just said that! With me being right here! You'd think he'd ask this somewhere else! "Um. What do you mean, Inosuke?" Said Tanjiro, with that same confused face. "Don't play dumb! You've been acting so woowy with him! It's kinda embarrassing if you ask me!" I interrupted. "Well no one asked!" I huffed. "Eh, weren't you the one who asked me first-" I blocked his dumb, stupid mouth before he said anything more. "Ah. Y'all are so weird. But, I need to give this to Mrs. Shinobu. Go eat you two." Said Tanjiro. "W-wait!" I said, but he was gone.

Pov: Tanjiro

That was weird. Oh well, there's no time to think about that. Mrs. Shinobu needs me. "Hello, it's me again. I'm here with the warm towel!" I opened the door slowly to see her asleep. So I walked towards her slowly, putting one of the towels on her head, and placing down the bowl of rice and soup I had made. "Get well soon, please." I said quietly, so I didn't wake her. Then I walked out.

Pov: Shinobu

What a sweet young boy he is.

Pov: Zenitsu

This food is so good! Tanjiro sure is an excellent cook! "This food tastes different!" Said the weird boar. "Well duh! Tanjiro's cooking is obviously going to be different because it's him cooking, not the other girls!" I chirped. "Eh, what's with you always standing up for him all of a sudden? It's weird!" I just looked away, letting my face go down with annoyance. "Don't make that face at me! Look at me right now-" He stopped talking. I turned back to see Tanjiro have a towel around Inosuke's mouth. "Now, now. Let's calm down, okay? Is the food okay? It isn't too salty, is it?" Tanjiro said, in his soft, sweet tone. The boar didn't answer, he just sat there, confused. "Why, it is really good Tanjiro! I love it so much, thank you!" I said, hoping he believed me. "Ah, I'm so glad! It's been so long since I cooked for anyone." He said while sitting down next to me. "I'm glad I still have the cooking skills!" He said, this time pulling his hands in the air making a fist, and showing off his muscles you can't see. (Speaking we still have our nightgowns on) "Well, I don't think any of your skills are gonna ever go away, Tanjiro." He just looked at me, wide eyed. Then smiled.

After eating, I went to check on Mrs. Shinobu. Hopefully she's doing much better. "Hello?" I peeked my head inside. "Mrs. Shinobu? Are you feeling better now?" I walked in, but she wasn't there. I got a scent of blood. 'Oh no!' I thought. I ran outside where I was picking up her scent, only to find a few drops of blood on the pebbles. "Mrs. Shinobu! Where are you?" I screeched, searching and searching. But I just couldn't find her! I knew I needed to calm down, that was why my senses were messing with me! "Calm down, Tanjiro. She's okay. She is okay." Now. Just breathe. She has to be here, I just know it- "Tanjiro?" I flipped my body around to see Kanao. "Kanao!" I yelled. Maybe I shouldn't have, but I was worried! "Don't worry. She is fine. Just go back inside." She said, with the same soft tone and smile. "Ah, I'm so glad! But, where is she at the moment?" She didn't say anything. "Oh, was that all you were ordered to do? Well, that's okay. I'm just grateful you told me." I smiled

**If you don't remember, Kanao only does what she is told to do. And if she's alone she flips a coin, that's why he said that to her :)

Pov: Zenitsu

I wonder where Inosuke is. He's been gone after we ate, and I haven't seen him since. Don't tell me he's going after Tanjiro. "Whahaha! Look out yellowed hair freak! Because I'm coming through!" Stupid boar. Who does he think he is?! "What'd you say?! Stop calling me that!" "Why should I? Huh? You do have yellow hair!" I paused. Knowing I can't win in his battle, I'll just walk away. See if he can beat my fight now. I'm excellent at walking away from my problems. Something he wasn't born to do. "H-hey! Get back here, dumbass!" He screeched. But I just continued to walk to our room. He followed me of course, but I didn't mind. Honestly, it was nice to feel like things were going back to the was before everything. Just as I was about to reach our door, I heard it.

"Hello! Boy of Yellow!"

Pov: Tanjiro

"Huh.. the clouds. The clouds are so dark. And the air- is it.. is it going to snow?" Snow. I used to always love the snow. But ever since that day I've never been able to feel that feeling I once called joy again. Snow.

"Tanjiro?"

Huh? "Yes?" Oh. Mrs. Shinobu. "I heard that you were worried. I feel happy you care so much." She said, with the same warm smile. Honestly, I could tell now she was faking it. "Ah. Yes. Kanao said you were okay, so I stopped worrying so much. But yes, I am glad to see you are doing better!" She didn't say anything, instead, she raised her arm and put her hand on my shoulder. "Lately," she began, almost as if she was going to take it all back. "I've been so worried another one would die." Oh. She means Demon Slayers. She opened her mouth again, not sure what to add next. "Hum. That's all. I've just been thinking, you know?" I nodded, hoping that would be enough. I genuinely had nothing to say, well, what was I supposed to say? This was all sudden, and really, really depressing. "Go inside. It's going to snow soon." Then she disappeared.

Pov: Zenitsu

"Mr.- ... Mr. Rengoku!!" I cried. Almost on my knees. "Young boy, it's alright! I am doing much better now!" He laughed the laugh he did back on the train. It was now much sadder to hear. "Mr. Rengoku?" I heard a small voice crack, creeping up behind me. "Ah! Young Lad! How are you doing on this fine day? Young Tanjiro!" I pierced my head back, hoping to see a happy look. But it was the opposite. Tanjiro's face was blank, lost, afraid. Dead. "You... you're alive!" He cried as well, leaping off the floor. "Ah, now, now Young Lad. I'm still hurt. But yes, I am quite alive! Thank you for this hug! We shall hug more when my body feels pumped!" He laughed again. But Tanjiro didn't let go. Rengoku went quite. His smile faded and everything. "Young Tanjiro. I think we should talk somewhere much more quieter." Tanjiro nodded in his chest, still crying, I can hear. As they walked off, I stood. I stood so still that the dumb boar passed me without even noticing.

Pov: Rengoku

"Ah, what a beautiful day. Don't you think, Tanjiro?" I said, hoping it would lighten the mood. "Yes." He said, more quietly this time. I looked out the window to see the first fall of snow. "Look Young Lad. The first

Snowflake."
