G.Dipper POV

I walk towards a giant manor. I knock three times. The door opens. I enter. none was behind the door. "Strange" I mutter. The door closes behind me. " Hello, is anyone here?" I ask rather loudly. I take a few steps forward, each step created a loud echo along the floor. I stopped walking. " Did I catch a bad time?" I ask. I hear footsteps. " So the Northwest manor isn't abandoned!" I exclaim. A old ish man that looks like great uncle Stanford. " I guessing your Stanford Gleeful." His expression was stern, his face was pretty much identical to Stanford Pines'. He wore a simple blue button up. he wore a black cape with grey fur atop of it. " Then you must be Mason Pines." He responds, he is now in font of me. "Yes I am."

"Why did you return?"

" I didn't want to run away in the first place. But I had to in my situation. I returned because one mason needed me to, second I still need to talk with him."

" You aren't hiding anything, are you?"

" No but I know you have a knife in your back pocket."

"Smart. Follow me."

Stanford takes me up the stairs, left, right, through a hidden door, left. right, right again and finally right. " Here. just open this door." Stanford informs me.

"Thank you" I respond but Stanford has already gone. I open the door. Its a closet. An empty closet. I turn around to open the door but its locked. So he doesn't trust me. I should have seen this coming. I look around me its a really tight and cramped rectangular room. This closet mustn't be used much as its wallpaper was about falling off and the floor was dust covered. The room was practically pitch black so I had to feel across the walls for a exit. I felt a bump. I pulled it towards me...

R.Dipper POV

"I think he's here right now." I say as I slam the journal shut. " Welcome" I say to Mason, who had just walked in. "Nice library." he says.

" Why did you return?" I ask.

" I wanted to." He responds.
