"Mr. Ya- err, Present Mic?" Sophia asked. He turned his attention from Denki, who was scratching his head, to her. "Did I word this correctly?" He looked over her sentence structure and pointed out a good few flaws, so many that she had to completely start over. She groaned and Denki laughed. As soon as Mr. Yamada left she kicked him. Some people saw and chuckled as well.

"Ow!"

"Not my fault japanese is hard to write." She didn't bother keeping her voice at a whisper. Mr. Yamada allowed them to talk so long as they kept working at a decent pace and didn't bother other students.

"You can speak Japanese extremely well," Iida said, not looking up from his paper. "I would think that writing would be second nature."

"Yeah, well, you'd be wrong. It is so different than English, and that's hard enough on it's own."

"Yeah," Denki agreed, scratching his head at his paper again. "Most of this is so-"

"Foreign?" She smirked.

Denki chuckled with her. "Yeah, I guess."

"Would you extras shut up?!" Bakugou yelled (as if he had another volume) at them. They shared a smirk but did as he asked, not wanting to push all his buttons just yet- they still had rescue training that afternoon.

Sophia was glad she wasn't the only one to be caught swooning over Midnight, but unfortunately with her empathy (mainly Mineta's feelings toward the teacher) added to her own attraction towards her, she had to excuse herself for a few minutes. Thankfully, Midnight understood and wrote her a pass for the rest of the period.

Walking around the halls was calming, so she ended up making a mental map of the place. The cafeteria was a long ways from the front door of the building, yet if she took a detour down the third year hall, the way saved her a few minutes.

"What's up, Little Listener," Mr. Yamada said, startling her. "You aren't skipping class, are you?" He was smirking, knowing her well enough. Still, she could feel the doubt he held within him. Of course.

"Trust me, I'd love to be there right now," Sophia said, handing him the pass. "Unfortunately, my Quirk had other plans." She felt the nerves he had the same time she saw it on his face.

"Oh. Are you- that is-"

She chuckled. "Relax. I'm over it. You don't have to have a talk with me right now. Or ever. I've had it before, anyway." She was glad when he didn't push on who gave her that talk on her, especially for a simple Quirk outburst. As they walked, the fell into a small conversation about which band was better- The Score or Disturbed.

"The Score can't decide between being pop or rock," Mr. Yamada argued passionately.

"Exactly!" Angel exclaimed. "I don't like complete rock songs- a mix between the two is perfect. And before you start, the songs are not all the same one done over."

"I wasn't gonna say that."

"You were thinking it." To that, he was quiet.

"Finally got him to shut up, I see," Mr. Aizawa teased quietly as the sounds of people scrambling to get things out of the wall. Was it that time already?

"Sorry, Mr. Aizawa! I swear, I didn't mean to be late! My Quirk-" he held up a hand. She shrunk away from him.

"Midnight already explained it- I'll talk to her about a solution until you can find a way to control it." Sophia sighed and apologized once more before running into the classroom to get her costume.

. . .

They had to take a bus to the USJ since it was off campus. Iida was a very strict line monitor, so much so that he blew a whistle in Sophia's ear when she kept talking to Denki instead of getting in line. She sat next to Denki on the bus, quietly talking with him to not disturb her other classmates.
