(Mess the timing up a bit last chapter. I'll fix it in future ones.)
Hitoshi Shinsou would never regret having General Studies as a backup. But man, did it get boring. Quirk history, regular history, English, ect. All normal high school stuff. The pros very rarely taught the none hero course classes, too many students and all that.
He hardly saw Papa and even less so of Dad. Even Sophia he only got to see at lunch and it was from afar. Hanging out with hero course students and forgetting he existed. Shinsou would be lying if he said he missed having their full attention attention in the months before the semester started.
Now she was at rescue training and he was just at general history. He would bet that she was excelling at the assignment, better than anyone else. One day, he would join the class. One day, he'd be in the hero course and show them all.
. . .
"Kiri, five!" Sophia shouted, having him attack the one incoming.
"Thanks Soph!" He called back. Instead of making herself sing anything, she let the villains take over. Mainly anyone who was hiding and waiting for a moment to attack. The fighting was to the beat of the music, and she always made sure that the advantage was on their side.
Bakugou turned to Sophia and his confident smile faded. He started running, explosions covering his hands for an attack. She beat him to it, twirling out of the way expertly and going behind him. Before the villain knew what happened, she kicked him into Bakugou. He knocked him out with explosions without a second thought.
"Were you trying to save me?" Sophia smirked as Douxie and Kiri took out the last two villains.
Bakugou scoffed. "I was trying to take out a dumbass villain!"
"That was about to attack me- it's ok to admit you care. It'll make you a more likeable hero!"
"Shut up, Jukebox!"
"Guys, we gotta get going!" Kiri yelled, pointing towards the Central Plaza. Just beside it, they saw something like a thin tornado and heard both a splash and Izuku yelling an attack. Sophia never understood that part of being a hero. Still, they had to go. Thankfully all the villains in the Collapse Zone had gathered around them, so it was as easy as dodging the debris that had already fallen.
"So, we're going straight to the exit and Thirteen, right?" Sophia asked as they ran, her trailing behind a bit. Even if she could figure out what song could give her a speed boost, playing it now would draw attention.
Douxie nodded. "Sounds like a plan."
"You two can do that if you want," Bakugou said. "I'm going to take out their ride."
"Dude, we're kids!" Sophia protested as they neared their destination. Sounds of the fight neared, breaking concrete and bones indicators of how it was going. Who knew Aizawa was that strong? "Thirteen and Mr. Aizawa can-"
They came to the Central Plaza, most villains out of commission. The guy with hands all over him stood by the fountain watching.... Watching....
He was watching that giant bird guy. Turned out, the broken bones and concrete weren't from Aizawa taking down random lackies- it was from that guy breaking his bones. Aizawa tried to turn off his quirk, looked directly at him, but all that happened was his arm got twisted once more. His head fell down in exhaustion and pain, but the villain didn't let up.
Aizawa's head was slammed into the ground multiple times, each time sending blood spurting.
The warp guy appeared next to the hand guy during the beatdown, the last thing Angel saw before her vision turned blurry with tears. Douxie wrapped his arms around her to keep her from running after him, Kiri and Bakugou too stunned to do anything.
