"Mom, she doesn't need a therapist." Lily said to the woman. The woman kept her eyes on the road.
"She must have some serious emotional trauma living with those wolves." She replied sternly.
I just stared out the window at the passing buildings. I wasn't comfortable around these large structures, or these people. All my life I had known I was a wolf, but that had turned out to be wrong. Now I knew I was a human, and that hurt me more than anything, the knowledge that I was living in a fantasy world were humans and wolves could, "Co-exist"
I laid my head back on the seat and wondered where Nathan was at that moment. I wondered if he was looking for me, wanting me to come home. I wasn't worried that I wouldn't escape, I could overpower these people easily, I was worried that if I went back to Nathan, he wouldn't want me anymore. Rejection was my worst fear. My pack had rejected me, my own mother gave up searching for me, I had a right to fear.

Ariel's Mother's P.O.V
Dr. Milligan shone the light in her eyes again. I couldn't believe it, I had my little Rose back. But a deep sadness struck my weak heart when she said she didn't want to go with me. I wanted to make her happy, but she needed help, something that Nathan kid couldn't provide.
"Say, Hello." Dr. Milligan told her. She crossed her arms without a word. He looked up at me. "You said she could speak."
"She doesn't like you." I said with a laugh. Rose gave a nod.
"Rose is very stubborn." I said. She shot me an intense glare. "It's Ariel." I shook my head.
"I'm the one who gave you life, who held you in my arms, who named you." Rose got up angrily.
"I'm fine." She said firmly. Dr. Milligan looked at me warmly. "Well, she seems to be fine, but you should take her to a doctor to see if her brain is developed normally." He said.
"No!" Rose pleaded and dropped down on her knees. She grabbed my hand and looked deeply in my eyes. A small tear dropped down from her face. "Take me back."
Dr. Milligan and I exchanged glances.
