Minghao knew the fans worried for him.

He didn't want Carats to worry. That was one of his biggest reasons to take his pills every day and keep sticking a needle into his finger.

The members knew that Minghao had pretty bad memory, so they made sure to check he'd taken his pills every morning, but sometimes their schedule was too packed.

Sometimes, nobody had the capacity to think about Minghao on top of everything they needed to prepare for themselves.

It was one of those days, they had a photoshoot at 5 am, followed by an interview at 7 am and then a fan sign at 11 am. After that, they had another interview at 1 pm, and finally, dance practice at 5 pm which would no doubt go on until at least 3 am.

Minghao's first mistake was not eating enough for breakfast. The shower rota told him he was last, so there wasn't enough time to eat. He had only had a few spoonfuls of cereal before their manager was dragging them out to the car for the hour drive to the photoshoot location.

When they arrived, the staff set everything up while the members got into their outfits.

Minghao completely missed when the clock hit 6 am, the usual time he would take his meds.

The next time Minghao was even remotely aware of the time was when the interview started. He didn't even spare a thought for his meds, just remembered that he'd been awake for three hours.

All the members were getting restless, Minghao especially, as he hadn't even eaten much because he was the last to shower.

Junhui was the first to notice something wrong with Minghao. It was much too late to take his meds, but he was starting to get pale and shaky, exhaustion and lack of cortisone finally catching up to him.

By the fan sign, Minghao knew his levels were much too low, and that he certainly wouldn't make it to his next dose of meds.

It was during their little dance that things turned bad.

Carat decided that they wanted Seventeen to dance to Oh My! a not too difficult song, but almost impossible in Minghao's state.

Even as Minghao stood up, a wave of dizziness washed over him, and Seungkwan had to grab his wrist to stop him from falling over.

"Hyung? Are you okay?" Seungkwan asked in a whisper.

Minghao shook away the dizziness. "Fine, just tired." His voice was weak.

Seungkwan could see the unusual patches of dark skin around Minghao's arms and hands, and also his knees, but he knew that Minghao was stubborn, and wouldn't give up until he dropped.

"Okay, Hyung. Just be careful." Seungkwan said as they got into position for the song.

It was just as the music started that Minghao's vision darkened and he fell to the floor.

Seungcheol didn't know that Minghao had been suffering all morning.

He'd seen Minghao eating and had assumed Minghao had taken his meds, but he had no way of telling.

The first thing Seungcheol knew of Minghao suffering was from the thud as the young man hit the floor.

Seungcheol turned to see Minghao lying on the floor, body crumpled. Seungkwan looked distressed, but Minghao looked absolutely terrible.

The leader rushed forward, alongside Junhui and Seungkwan. The three all knelt beside Minghao, Seungkwan calling his name while Junhui shook him and Seungcheol raised him so he was leaning against Seungcheol's chest.
