Part 41
You woke up the next morning nice and early, you had an amazing dream about you and George, you put on a hoodie and went downstairs, everyone else was still asleep so you made yourself a cup of tea and a bowl of cereal, after that you sat down and quietly watched tv, about half an hour later your mum came downstairs, she looked at you and said "can we talk in the kitchen a second" you put your bowl on the table, got up and walked to the kitchen, you rested on the kitchen surface and your mum sat down:
Mum - we need to talk about the funeral
You - why now?, why today?, can't we do it another time, we're trying to have fun
Mum - this is very important to me
You - can we talk about it tomorrow, I want to do something fun today
Mum - well alright then, what should we do?
You - a girls day out, how does that sound?
Mum - that sounds wonderful dear, where should we go?
*Laura runs into the kitchen with her pillow*
Laura - ZOO ZOO ZOO!
Mum - aren't you a bit old for the zoo
Laura - you're never too old for the zoo
You - she's gotta point
Mum - alright, after breakfast its the zoo, then what are we going to do after lunch?
You - how about we get our hair and make up done and then afterwards go shopping
Mum - sounds like a plan, would you like that Laura?
Laura - oh yeah
You - get, you guys get breakfast and I'll get the mail
You walked outside to the letter box, you opened it and looked through, there were so many bills it was unreal, you knew your mum was struggling, you walked back inside, you put the mail on the table and picked up a magazine with your face on it, it was the photo of you and Tom with the heading "Is This Tom With Josh Cuthbert's Girlfriend!" you couldn't believe it, you threw it away and went upstairs to get dressed, it was such a hot day today, you got dark green denim shorts, white tank top, denim crop jacket, brown wedges and a small brown bag. You walked back downstairs, your little sister was wearing blue denim shorts, pink flower t-shirt and pink flats, your mum was wearing a long black skirt, strapless blue and white strippy top, white gladiator shoes and a black bag. You smiled and walked outside. You drove to the zoo, you had an amazing time there, Laura enjoyed watching the animals eating breakfast, you spent until lunch there, for lunch you went to pizza hut, after that you went to the shopping centre and got your nails, hair and make up down, of course Laura didn't have her make up down but they did paint her nails and curled her hair. After that you spent the rest of the day shopping, you went to Hollister, Jack Wills and Forever 21, your sister went into Build-A-Bear, Disney Store and loads of sweet shops and your mum went into Chanel, Laura Ashley and Costa (it was a long day, she needed a coffee). You got back home at about 7pm, the day went so quickly, you had so much fun, you missed spending time with your family but at the same time you missed being with the boys.
