Part 5 Meeting

no one's pov:

(warning: swearing) 

Diamond poured herself and red son coffee and got the toast out of the toaster, she put 1 piece each on 2 plates and gave one to red, he drank his coffee still in his pajamas, meanwhile, his daughter was fully dressed with her hair brushed.

red son: wheres noodle boy?

Diamond: he's in the shower- hay, since when do you care?

red son: I- just wanna get this meeting with his friends over with!

Diamond: oh, that's today! Oh shit!

red son: yeah, it's hard to believe right?

Diamond: not only that, if they're ok with it you'll have to work there!

red son froze when he realized the truth, he had to work at pigsys noodles, a restaurant where he believed that pesents work. he sighed and went to his (or his daughter room) got dressed in his normal outfit, brushed, and put his hair up, he left when he finished.

red son: I hope noodle boy is okay with missing breakfast because I'm tired of waiting.

Diamond: don't worry he never eats breakfast anyway.

red son: what idiot doesn't eat breakfast?

Diamond: him, apparently

red son: whatever.

latter~ MK pov 

I put on my uniform for work, my pants, shoes, and headband, I took my caffeine and hair loss pills then left the bathroom seeing Diamond and red son waiting at the island (by that I mean a kitchen island) once they saw me they immediately got up and got out the door.

MK: guys, slow down, wait for me!

red son: we've been waiting! now we want to go.

Diamond: why do you take forever in the shower anyways?

MK: it takes a long time to wash my hair, ok?!

red son: pff, maybe you should worry more about actually eating breakfast!

MK: who told you I wasn't eating-

red son: besides if you died from hunger that would be embarrassing!

what red son said really made me upset, it felt shameful that this was a problem for me but I didn't let it get to me too much. 

we were in front of pigsys, I was excited, Diamond looked scared, and red son cringed, I thought I could make them feel better.

MK: it's okay guys, whether or not they're happy or not about this I still have a fun night ahead of us tomorrow!

R&D: yay...

MK: love the enthusiasm, ok, let's do this!

I went inside first, I saw pigsys talking to tang, mei on her phone, and sandy just sitting there.

MK: hay guys-

pigsy: MK, why are you 15 minutes late AGEN!?

MK: well-

mei: and we haven't hung out all this weekend! What's up with that?

MK: please let me-

tang: and are you eating breakfast, you look so thin, and not the good kind!

MK: ok, first mei, pigsy, I'll answer you in a second, and Mr. tang yes I have! ok, so sandy already knows why I asked him to come here because I have news!

mei: you're pregnant!

MK: WHAT, no!

mei: I joking, continue.

MK: ok, well, what I was about to say was I got a roommate, and I want you to meet him!

tang: are you dating them!?

MK: NO! *sigh* guys you can come in!

after I said that Diamond came in with a crooked smile, then red son stepped in and stopped right next to me. everyone looked at him in shock, next thing I know mei pulse out her sword, and pigsy gets his spoon.

MK: WAIT! 

mei: MK, please don't tell me that red boy is your roommate!?

red son: MY NAME IS RED SON!!

Diamond: *muffled* budda save me...

MK: OK, I know this is hard to believe but yes, red son is my roommate!

everyone pauses and looks at me in disbelief except sandy, after what felt like forever tang spoke up.

tang: so... are two dating?

red son: EXCUSE ME!?

MK: *sigh* for the last time, no!

mei lowers her sword and asks a question.

mei: so he's a good guy now? 

red son: yes- well, I'm only doing this to get back at my mother!

pigsy: and how long until you are over it?

red son: a very long time!

MK: But guys, isn't this great? red joined the good side now he can help out at the shop and be a part of the team! plus he's gonna hang out with sandy to help his anger issues.

red son: stop touching me!

pigsy: I don't know kid, is this really a good idea?

Diamond: look, guys if you are unsure we can give you some time to think about this but I really want dad to stay, can you at least trust my word on it?

everyone looked at each other, they knew how happy Diamond would be.

pigsy: if you two are so sure then fine we trust him.

MK: thank you pigsy, now that you trust him can he work here with you?

Pigsy: wough, kid, ill trust him but letting him work here is a whole other story!

MK: pleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeease?

pigsy: gods, fine, but if he burns anything he gets a wack in the head!

MK: yay!

red son: *sigh* I never thought that rock bottom have a basement.

when red said that he and pigsy got into an argument, I was just that happy that red was accepted by my friends, I felt really warm knowing that we could actually be on the same team!

 I'm not used to feeling this warm...
