Part 7 I have something to tell you (Part 1)

Diamond pov:

It was late in the afternoon getting close to the evening and I was sitting at one of the booths in Piggsys playing checkers with Mr. Tang, he seemed very upset and it was probably because I was winning and I had $80 in my pocket right now.

Diamond: So Mr. Tang, are you ready to admit I'm better than you or do you want to lose another 20 bucks?

Mr. Tang: I will never admit it, and I am not losing another 20 Bucks. I will not lose a fourth time to a middle schooler!

Diamond: keep telling yourself that.

Mei: At this point Diamond I'm surprised you haven't bled him dry

Diamond: May I'm not heartless I may be a demon but I'm not greedy

red son: Exactly, she was raised better than that! You should know this dragon girl.

I heard a slam on the table and I looked down to see that Mr. Tang had placed a checker in one of the squares thinking that he had won little did I know that I knew the three-move win and he didn't have a smiling face for that long 

Mr tang: HA! Beat That diamond.

Diamond: Oh with pleasure... check mate.

Mr. Tang: wha- no!

Diamond: oh tang, when are You going to realize you're going to keep on losing to me?

Mr Tang handed me another $20 bill I smiled knowing now I had a hundred bucks in my pocket just as I predicted I heard laughing from behind the counter and I looked over to see my dad and laughing hysterically at Mr Tang.

Mr. tang: Hey it's not funny how would you feel if you got beat by your own daughter huh

red son: as if she could.

Diamond: Don't worry Mr Tang He's just afraid that with all the things he taught me I might be better than him

Dad gasped at the statement he looked me dead in the eyes and told me that he could beat me if he wanted to I didn't believe him I honestly believe that I'm better than my dad but can you blame me I've been taught so well I've learned more than him now 

red son: you couldn't beat me if you tried!

Diamond: lets settle this with a game then! your on brake in 15 minnites, so when this timer go of you have to play with me!

red son: Whatever you say my little Dino bear.

I sat there shocked he hasn't used that name in years Dino bear was a nickname he called me all the time because it was my favorite stuffed animal that he made me, I just blushed and embarrassment and then sat there shocked looking at him for like a few minutes 

Mk pov:

I walked in Piggsys sweaty and very tired, I was happy that I was finally done with my runs and I could go on a break. I flopped down on the counter her exhausted looking over to see diamond was flustered, Mei and Tang were laughing and red sun look pretty confident while cooking in the kitchen 

Mk: What happened while I was out on my runs

Mei ran over and sat next to me explaining the situation still laughing at what just happened

Mei: So diamond won against Tang in a game of checkers for the fourth time in a row now she has a hundred bucks in her pocket right now-

Mk: What

Mei: but that's not why we're laughing Red Son called Diamond Dino bear because it's a nickname he uses for her

Mk: son I didn't know you were such a softy!
